Drama of Sonia, Left & Mulayam
by Ram Sharma on Jul 05, 2008 12:26 PM  Permalink

SP was with the Left for last 3 yrs in opposing the deal. What happened suddenly during Amar Singh's visit to USA that they changed their position? Dr Kalam had long back backed the deal. So meeting him now and then dragging his name for supporting the deal is unethical and a big drama. Is it a joint drama between Congress, Left & SP, so that the govt does not fall, Left can go to its supporters saying that they r opposing the Congress, who is their main enemy in WB, Keral & Tripura? Only SP may b the loser in electoral terms. But they will now get the benefit of slowing down of various cases involving disproportionate income cases. Otherwise why Sonia and Mulayam can come together, as they had been biggest enemies of each other till the other day.

This drama is also meant to divert people's attention to galloping inflation, suicide of farmers etc. Inflation went up further last week to 11.65, but it did not make any news bcz of this drama.

SP Chief Mulayam's meeting Sonia Gandhi and indication to support N-deal after left's decision to withdraw support from Govt. is clearly in the interest of SP for their survival and NOT IN THE INTEREST OF NATION as SP could have voiced their support for N-deal before the decision of left. Perhaps SP is feeling insecured in UP from BSP. The political fear from Mayavati in UP may be making SP forget their NUPA friends in which SP was a strong constituent. Therefore two singhs may..........................

Energy bill for the government is very high and there is no chance to come down, becuase it depends purely on the world energy market. Nuclear is the best and immediate solution to ease the mighty country's economy and protect the life of more than 1.1 billion people. The lfet failed to understand the truth and you little knowledge also support. Think india's economy and its suffering people and not blidly to your oppose USA with unscuessful idealogy and based on myths

1.1 billion people r increasing daily. Where is family planning? What is required is limiting the family by following one child norm of China, being followed there since 1979. We should sign the deal only if Hyde act is not applicable.

What was the Menu? Italian Pizza or UP ki Barsaati? & did Mannu break in with a Bhangra? Or was there an Akhaada set - up bang in the middle with Communist Hot - Shots trying to outdo each other in "Laal Langotis"? & I am sure, the Lungi Lobby were dishing out "Nhaariyal Phaani" to the guests......

Srange are the ways of politics & gimmics by its participants
by mallaiah anchoori on Jul 04, 2008 07:53 PM  Permalink

Though belated,it is good that the SP leaders-especially Mulayam Singh who did not meet Sonia for the past 5 years are agreeable to the Deal which they earlier opposed not because they were aware of its advantages & desirability, but because of their political differences with Congress. It is not that their concern for national interest has increased all of a sudden. It is not that the hard waters have become, suddenly,"sanctified water"(Theerth") just because they happen to have been poured through the conch-mouth of Dr Kalam.No..It is because it suits them politically now.Quoting Dr Kalam is only a face saving for them to cover up their alliance with Congress which they have been opposing all these 5 years tooth & nail.Dr.Kalam has been emphasising the need for deal since long. His name is being used since he is respected & regarded a lot by the country men.It is the political expediency that brings both the parties together only to prove once again that"in politics, there are no permanent friends or foes"The crux is neither Congress nor SP is prepared for mid term poll to be imposed on the country in the event of the left parties pulling the rug.One thing is sure!SPs this honey moon,is just for a short term-that too, most probably, for a consideration of few berths in the cabinet. Congress too is aware of this, but there appears no other go for it than this to avert mid term & enjoy its full term of power.Strange are the ways of politics & the gimmicks played by its participants.
