Whether Karnataka or Maharashtra, the politicians and the road contractors have tied up to make money, irrespective of the problems, accidents, deaths caused by bad roads. These guys have made it into a fine art in deception.Public memory being short and the public not interested in taking on the poticos, this state of affairs will go on and on.And those or a person ,who wish to take up the cudgels, will find that the goons employed by the politicians paying a quiet visit to the person's house and advising him the consequences.Just forget good roads, just forget a new Mumbai.it is not far that school children in mumbai will have to go to Raigadh district to play games.
bombayites are paying teh price for being so apolitical. who stops them from doing what the gujjars did? block the tracks, the roads and demand that they be improved. the government will listen. instead they are all busy making money!

PREACHING IS EASY. PRACTICING IS DIFFICULT. Y DO NOT U START IT. OTHERS WILL FOLLOW.
Trafficjams, crowded trains, Rude auto/taxi guys, flooded areas etc. are getting worse day by day. There is no way we can travel to our offices either by car or bus or train. If u go by train you have be like a giant to push all the crowd aside and a get a seat for yourself. if you like to go by road youu should know how to fly like spiderman or superman then only you can reach office on time. Otherwise i dot see any of the commutation safe and proper to travel. Today was the most horrible day to reach my office. It took me 3 hours to travel a 20 min distance. If I start going late to office like this I m sure one day i'll loose my job. But how givenrment is bothered about individuals like us. They are only interested in making money, making their party strong by raising unwanted issues. BMC just keep on giving budgets but most of the money goes into their own private bank accounts and rest will be distributed bet'n contractors and remaining small amount will be utilised for public property. What kind of superpower India is going to be in wnatever predicted time?
Folks, please understand, will you kill a goose that lays golden egg every year before and after the rainy season. Take a look at this, you call for tenders to fix the roads, you award the tenders to the contractors and he pays your share, this happens in May/June and in September/October. these potholes are precisely money making machine for the BMC. All the big talking is only for the sake of it and we are afterall used to all false promises. At the end of the day, you are the looser, you pay for your vehicle breakdown, missing the flights or trains, loosing precious business time on the roads. The govt is not. Few days back I took a taxi from Chembur to Colaba, the taxi drive was telling his plight, he can only make 2 or 3 such 15 km and earn 150/200 per day, while one can effectively make 6-8 such trips if roads are good and traffic is organized. But who cares the poor.
DO NOT VOTE - WE NEED TO STOP INDIA IN THE DIRECTION IT IS MOVING

There is a traffic signal just below the bridge near Lower Parel (W) between Dawn Mill and A to Z road towards Worli Naka. Now after the emerging of corporate, another signal has been installed just at a distance of approximately hundred feet. This is leading to tremendous traffic jam from the signal till Worli Naka. This signal has been installed mainly to facilitate the vehicles into the corporate park. How another signal is permitted so near to a signal only the concerned person know. Those going by buses or taxis from Worli Naka to the station, have to wait for long period at two signals too close. Often there is a traffic personal. And it is observed he shows a fair inclination towards the corporate people. This results in the late attendance of the working people in offices. The Lower Parel-Worli Naka area is mostly of common working people. But not a single Tiger or a single Cub or a single Panther speaks for them. God save the poor people.
I was travelling towards Vikhroli today from the LBS Marg. I went fine till Bhandup. From there onwards till Kanjurmarg (Gandhi Nagar Signal) which is only about 3 kms, it took me 1.5 hours. I had to postpone all my appointments!
LEAVE INDIA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.THESE ARE THE BEST DAYS THAT INDIA IS SEEING AND STILL WE ARE IN THE WORST OF THE CONDITIONS.I WOULD JUST SAY LOVE INDIA THIS WAYS OR LEAVE INDIA IN ITS OWN WAY.DONT TRY TO CHANGE IT OR YOU WONT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR KIDS GROW EVER.INDIA IS DEAD AND SO ARE ALL OF US FOR OUR POLITICIANS.IN A MORE DRAMATIC WAY I WOULD THAT THE INDIAN POLITICIANS ARE RAPING THEIR OWN MOTHER INDIA.INDIA NEEDS A DICTATOR BUT SOME ONE LEVEL MINDED.
Today it took more than 3 hours to reach to my office. I think we are at Mumbai already paying petrol more than Rs. 100 per litre as we have to burn more than double for same distance if we have to cover in any other cities. Mumbaikar are most tolerated people on this planet. Most of political parties are raising voice for issues like non Mahrastrian, Bombay or Mumbai etc. Why they are ignoring issue of infrastructure of Mumbai has today ?? In local train it has worst scenario. Forget about getting seats, it’s difficult to getting inside the train during morning time. It’s really painful that no one is serious about Bombay ahhh sorry Mumbai. Just see the way Delhi is shaping by Metro train it’s amazing.. In Mumbai it will take decades.... but Everyone love Mumbai like anything.... just think if we get infra like metro than how beautiful this city could be...... ouch!!!! Day dreaming..

Ofcourse, traffic management is bad everywhere. I am from delhi and was in Mumbai in the last week of June. I was staying at Powai and used to drive down to Ghatkopar every day. The traffic situation is the worst in Mumbai. Not that i have anything against Mumbai, but i feel its just due to the lack of road space compared to Delhi. Here even during peak hours a drive of 25 kms would be over in 1 hour but when I was there, a drive from Churchgate to Powai took me 3 hours. And on my last day, the drive from Ghatkopar to domestic airport took me 2.5 hours. It was as good as driving down to another city to catch a flight. Moreover the slums have also taken up alot of space which could haave been put to better use. Hats off to our politicians for creating this mess.
