A confirmed atheist like Mr.MK should nt use the word "god" but it should have use the word "Conscience" instead.
There is no proof for the existence of any god. So there is no question of acting in a manner acceptable to "god". Btw which god is he referring to? The jealous gods of Jews, Christians and Muslims or 330 million gods of hindus or the gods of other religion numbering around 2000 the world over?
MK is an unscrupulous politician who fools the people from time to time, one one issue or other to retain power at any cost.

Dear JGN, You may be right when u say there is no proof of any existance of god ...but there is proof of existance of GOD .what matters most is not whether M Karunanidhi accepts or rejects ,what matters most is you accept it or not . There are no seperate GOD for individuals but only one GOD ...all these earthly god you are refering is religion based who discriminate people on the basis of caste ,creed and religion .There cannot be million gods but only ONE GOD .Yes the true GOD is a jealouse God because he created you and me so he wont like you going after small gods..You cannot serve two Gods .Yes the proof of GODs existance can be seen in ISRAEL ..this country was formed in just one day ..in 1948 supernatural way...No blood shed or any of such things and it is surrounded by 300 million enemies ..but they are still surviving...its GOds power .How GOD led Isralites from captivity by dividing the RED sea is all recorded in history . Real GOD is not confined in the boundaries of religion..but his presence can be anywhere and not limited to particular language,race or culture .God is God who is soveriegn and people who belive in GOD dont question his existance but goes closer to him .The fundamentalist are very much defenders of faith ,that shows the shallowness of their GOD and faith .Christians are not supposed to defend their GOD ...its laughable if we defend our GOD ...he created us but we defend him...is he so week , defintly NOT..

Yes, Isreal was created for the "chosen people" and they are fighting with the Arab Muslims (both brothers under the skin - like Indians and Pakistanis) for establishing the supremacy of their gods! What more proof your need??
The old man sees his end in life and realises the futility of his acts .... He has done lot of wrong to tamilains who are not backward....As a ruler he needs to understand that all people are equal before him in cluding his daugters & nephews....!!! Development of the people is what he should have attemted rather than making them fight as categories.. god will accpet him as he does with even the worst people...let his correct his course before he departs....

Mr Iyer, Is this your same view when Jayalalitha did to christians and other low caste people in TN or you are peeved when karunanidhi supports low caste people and minorities..I still remember an incident when in my child hood i was waiting for my aunt to come and pick me up at MADRAS rly station a Tamil brahmin lady whose luggage was very close to mine at the platform rebuked me and my mother saying how dare you come so close to us...out of nowhere .Tamil brahmins even now practice untouchabilty...whats ur view on that...
which God he meant ? Hindu, muslim,christian, because he doen't believe in Hindu God/ Gods. He fooled TN people this long telling that he is non believer of God. Now this statement. Of course it came when he went to christian function. Now his life is coming to an end and he realizes God is there.

It is known that while reaching the end of life one tries to think about GOD and that is what Karuna is doing now. It happened the same way for EVR few decades back when EVR started worshipping Ganesha in his own home while preaching against outside. Anything can happen in few days to few months.
