Why ban regional parties?? Do they not have the mandate of the people. How does a party then become national party? They have to start small, do good and gain prominence. Competition is always good. Citizens will decide if a regional party is not enough. If not, they will be voted out.

Regional parties like DMK, Samajwadi, BSP, CPI (M) etc are only interested in blackmailing the government for their personal gains. They should be kicked out.

Easy way to kick them out if to not vote them in. National parties are corrupt too. Let us ban them too.

This seems a very funny suggestion. Please clarify who is WE here and from where does 'WE' get power to ban or not to ban any regional parties.

If 'WE' is really so powerful to do whatever it likes, how come regional parties have large presence in Parliament.

To me, your wish seems like Mungerilal's dream
