Hope Dr.Kalam would take up the home work before receiving Amar Sigh. He has to learn about the stings attached to the 123 agreement and Hyde Act combined with US Atomic Energy Act. The Hyde act was a three page document in the first. Later taking into account the various discussions in the Senate the size of the document become 41 pages. Let there be discussion in the open -point by point. DR Kalam should advice Amar Sigh in this way upholding wisdom of a high office he held. He is a man of values. Our democratic thinking should be valued above all interests.

Mr.Sivadasan claims to know more about the 123 agreement and the Hyde Act than Dr Kalam. Surprising!

Well the Fascist US isnt sending terrorists into India and planting bombs all across.. how do u expect India to trust Pakistanis with a potential distater in the form of that pipeline.. it isnt as if the will is lacking.. the trust is
the samajwadi party is now taking shelter under mr. kalam s opinion only to save their face from muslims. they talk as if they will whatever mr. kalam says. dirty opportunists. alright when they have decided to support congess they can do directly as they are expecting defeat due to mayavati.why should they bring mr. kalam in to this . mr. kalam should have avoided these fellows knowing their dirty politics. however the friend ship between these two parties is not going to last long and up public will teach both of them a lesson in comming elections for their opportunist policies.
As a president Kalam supported thorium based power plants and rejected the Uranium based PP. Now he has changed his stand and says as a mid term, while Thorium based technology is developed, we can use nuclear based PP. Who will foot the 100 billion dollars that spent for Nuclear Based PP? Also why he changed his stand now? Is it because he does not entertain the same security as he got as a president? I poder... is he threatened to accept this deal?

I have highest regards for Dr. APJ Kalam as he has given a lot to this nation and he seldem makes mistakes (seems so) BUT to err is human. By supporting the 123 agreement he is doing something which I can imagine even in drams. He is binding our hands/covering our face and letting us be raped by our sweet little neighbours / Dragon etc. The question is Why is he doing it ???
These Jokers (UNPA) removed Kalam from the highest post, now approach to him ! what a shame. Puppet President they wanted in place of APJ Kalam for whom majority (68%) Indians' support was there. Now that Puppet President is the most corrupt person in that post. Cheap politicians like street dogs, Amar Sing, Moulana Mulayam Yadav, should approach to Prativa Patil, most corrupted person in that post ever.
This is quality of We indians. Most of the indians behave like goats and sheeps. Even our politicians are of the same quality. Manmohan, chidambaram monteksinh kamalnath all this persons have nexus with industrialists powerbrokers and weaponslobby all over the world. Business people want to earn and they take assistance of politicians and in exchange bribe them. Not a single newspaper or politician has informed people of india about pros and cons of the deal. Not a single indian has raised his voice analysing the weaknesses or strength of the deal. Bloggers are divided into pro-US and pro-china groups. Hardly any body of them knows anything and discussing the issue justlike people give opinion standing at a panwala.
without suspecting the credentials of the respected former president, I think we should appreciate the simple fact that there are equally competent and patriotic scientists and persons of eminence who are against the deal for several other reasons. So it is not necessary that the view of the former president and scientist should necessarily be correct. Although I do not claim any eminence for myself, I have two simple questions a) Why should we not have a similar treaty with Russia or France who are more trustworthy than US? b) Is there is any quid pro quo promise from the Indian Govt to buy everything from the greedy US and bail out its capitalists from our hard earned money.

- 1)Go ahead have the treaties with other countries like USA would do.
2)NO.
India would buy urnaium from Australia. France is eager to do business with us on technologies.

If answer to Q1 is what you have stated, then heavens will not fall in case we wait till the next government is formed in both the countries. There need not be this degree of haste. Am I right?

- Every Govt. likes to see the fruit of its own labour.
Republicans in USA and UPA in India.
True to all parties.
And this 123 agreement is not for all countries. It's only between USA and India
