Indian Politics
by Anand Mujumdar on Jul 13, 2008 03:56 PM  Permalink

I have been out of India for last 38 years. After independence, India has been ruled by mainly Congress Party and Nehru family. When I was in India, Jawahar Nehru was asked question on corruption. He replied that although there is corruption money stays in India. I read a news brief after death of Field Marshal Manekshaw. He was asked to to attend a meeting with Nehru and Sardar Patel. Mr. Manekshaw was asked situation in Kashmir. Mr. Manekshaw described it was precarious and the air force has to be used to air lift personnel. Mr. Nehru was fumbling and talking about going to U.N. Sardar Patel asked Nehru do you want to loose Kashmir and then he turned to Manekshaw and told do whatever it takes to save Kashmir. India is misfortunate to loose Sardar Patel as a leader.
According to me Mr. Manmohan Singh is a good leader who has a vision for India but others like in congress, BJP, left and others a piece of garbage. Correct me if I am wrong.

India's top 10 corporate taxpayers paid total tax of 36,758 crore. Other than this the remaining indian population and small business firms, railways, air transpot, road transport etc are providing taxes too.how much tax the govt is collecting every year. Guess how much money the govt is getting each year from taxes. Also the The govt should have responsibility to report the citizens how they are spending this tax money. I don't know how much our FM is invested in chettinadu and how many houses he owned. We indians have to think where these money is going. Is it going in the PM's and politicians swiss bank account or using for other investments in other countries like our PM is waisting money for the n-deal and trying to make more indians sick due to the radiations. The govt already tried lot of germs through chicken guinnia, bird flue but the indians are still surviving. So our govt wish to spoil the whole country with radiation technology. For eg. the usage of cell phones and micro wave machines are not good for health.Knowingly we are calling diseases through this eguipments. Education is to utilise your brain and not to spoil like the cultures we can see from top level city cultures like bar party and sharing boy friends, become aids patients and usage of drugs. Modern means doesn't show your body parts with mini midies, instead use your gained knowledge to hide your private parts from others eye sightes. below one is not clear somebody chopped the topics Also this is an irrelav

we should aware what is good for us ,the politicians and Our PM is not aware of the indian citizens they are running behind Swiss banks and businesses. So don't worry about the inflation our govt have lot of money in hand to tackle these problems.we have to think which is good and what we need to survive. Don't eat artificial foods, reduce the usage of electronics will save money and health. In this way we can controll the govt from their marketing in india and save our lives. The high class is spending and eating outside foods more so that they are the victims of sick more frequently. To all indians Use your brain and save your lives. This is irrelavant to the subject but each citizen should know the fact.Their globalization process worked good for Ambani's group and other foreign traders. This will wipe off the poor indians day to day life. Everybody is suporting these groups and govt saying that indians are doing business in india and improving india. Can I ask how many can afford the food prices in India? Can a normal indian can eat 3 times with the the help of these retail shops? Before these groups started these business in india people lived peacefully in india. You indians think about the prices of vegetables and other items three years before this globalization in india. The govt ruined our country. Our govt and ambani group will survive in any situation because they are investing and trading with other countries to keep their money safe.PM won't worry for the electio

The fly on the wall!!
by Radhakrishna Iyer on Jul 07, 2008 03:19 PM  Permalink

Aditi must have been that fly on the wall who witnessed and reported the scenario - Last week a delegation from Madhya Pradesh met her to tell her that if elections were to be held, the assembly elections should be delinked from the general elections. If the two were held together, the Congress would be wiped out. "Aisa hai?" (is that so) she asked with seemingly gentle incredulity.

Oh the lengths some journalists slink down to t get us 'the latest dope'.

How the Congress mismanaged the N-deal
by Vijay Taleppadi on Jul 06, 2008 11:02 PM  Permalink

What Dr. Kalam said is right. Nuclear energy is very important for India to turn the wheels of industrial machinery and create job for million of unemployed Indians. France is producing about 70% of its needs through nuclear fission and is environmentally clean. This clean energy is required to keep our forests intact from the wood hngry rural india where wood is used for cooking, construction etc. Left is opposing the deal just because the help(with srtings)is coming from America and other western countries.
It is for India to decide whether we require clean energy or not. But definetly China loving Commies should not be allowed hold India back economically, Industrially. Pt. Nehru's socialism made India's poor poorer till 1990 when Mr. Narasimha Rao and Manmohan singh changed the course and lead the nation from socialism to capitalism therby creating wealth and jobs for millions of young Indians.

The media has wrongly called him( Dr Kalam) as a Nuclear Scientist. This is wrong. He is associated with India's Missile Programme and is a Rocket Scientist.
SP and the Congress are simply fooling the public by seeking Kalam's opinion and trying to bamboozle a controversial deal on the country.
Dr Kalam should not allow his good name to be smudged in this manner. An earlier case of Vinoba Bhave as having supported the Emergency should remind us.
We the people, should ask the Govt. what is it going to cost us as a nation in terms of binding this country for a long time with this deal.
How does the SP benefit when its main constituency the Muslims do not want the deal.
The sheer shortsightedness and the imperious attitude of our elected leaders is apalling.

Dr.Kalam is no Doctor, he is just a Diploma in Engineering from Madras Ploytechnic.
He knows nothing about either nuclear or missiles. He was an administrator.

dr.abdul kalam is the native of rameswaram from

where was he at that time ? he did not want to
antoganise muslims or nor like to displease congress party and sonia antonia maino.

dr.abdul kalam has read Ramayana, geetha ect but
he did not oppose ram sethu destruction in sethu samudram project? let him first explain this before talking of nuclear deal benefit to people. does dr.kalam says sethu samudram is benefical to people? ask any shipping experts, they will say in one word = total waste

There was no need the Samajwadi Party leaders to go to APJA Kalam to know about the Indo-US N-deal as he has declared his support in favour of this deal from the very beginning as such SP and the Congress leaders making the public fool.

Inflation cannot be controled by the government as Congress-BJP's child globalisation/liberalisation is brought here and hence this problem.
