Believe MMS and America.
by Dinesh on Jul 01, 2008 07:23 PM  Permalink

MMS must have thought all the pros and cons of the deal. We need not worry much. If he says, it is good for the nation, it must be good. All the non conventional sources are not yet that success for the money invested. They are still in primitive stage. After all, America is one of the very decent country. For that matter, non of the developed nations cheat anybody. We can blindly follow them. There is no nation, which followed America, was cheated so far. See Saudi. All their oil is extracted by America and these saudis are getting money simply sitting. They do not know how to take out oil. See Pakistan, they get lot of monetery help from America. They have guts to challenge India only because of America. America helps the third world by giving free wheat and cooking oil. Is there any other country do this. They help the third world during calmities. Did you hear any time these rich Gulf nations do such humaniterian work any time?

He first supported TN Sheshan, then Pratibha Patil and now N-deal. Others in NDA/UPA should follow him. Show the world (chinese parties) that we are united when national interest matters.

UPA should ask all parties to support the n-deal in the interest of the nation.

If the Nuclear deal is in the interest of the country (Which it is), why is the Shiv Sena Supremo tip-toeing...

Doesn't this mean that NDA is now more important than the country ?

I have always been asked, Are you a Muslim or an Indian first ?

Why doesn't someone ask these politicians if their loyalty/greed takes priority over national interest ?

People, stop behaving likes sheeps. use your brains. These politicains/netas will ruin our country.

But the question is Mr. narayan, if NDA extends support to UPA, and if UPA says we do not want to take support from either SS or BJP(which they say communal party), then? That is why NDA should not extend support until it is asked for. UPA is afraid of loosing minority vote if they take support of NDA. It was already expressed by communists. So minority appeasement is more importent to these so called secular parties than national interest.

It is Raut and not Thakare who is tiptoeing. Atleast Thakare agreed to support n-deal openly, BJP and not NDA wants power at any cost, so BJP is waiting for left to withdraw support, then ups will collapse and bjp would get chance...

It is really sad, but it's the fact and pakistan and Muslims to be blamed. But improving relation with pakistan will also change mindset of all indians ans indian muslims.

Politicians are corrupt, but name any profession which is not corrupt.

Thackeray can only dare to threaten the small minority of sikhs, but has no courage to fight the Bangladeshis who are crating new slums everyday around Mumbai. They r murdering & raping Hindus all over Mumbai. But what is our brave Thackeray doing, challenging innocent sikhs.Shame on Thackeray.

Shiv Sena ndeal
by Kalidas Sawkar on Jul 01, 2008 06:57 PM  Permalink

Late Mr. PG Wodehouse had written a story about a man whose misery in romance was like that of a man walking with two left feet. Indias communist parties have four left feet, counting those of their four constituents. This marks their political misery.

NDA Support
by Vijay Singh on Jul 01, 2008 06:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Statesmanship dictates that NDA supports the deal. The deal is not only about energy but about being able to get advanced cutting edge technology from the advanced nations. It would also enable our scientists to speed up research in the nuclear field. We would thus be able to develope our defence related technology and be in some position to contain China to some extent.

It is not just inflation and nuclear deal. There are many other problems facing the country at the same time. The Naxal problem, for one. The Communists problem. The oil price problem etc. It does not mean that you tackle one thing at a time. Things have to be done simultaneously.

Dear Prasad,

Are you blind...

He is still thinking of the NDA Alliance.

This is the perfect time to defeat the LEFT. marganize them. It must be shown to these commies that when the nations interest is at stake, we will hold it hostage to the demands of their Masters (Chinese).

Bhata re...Kadhi akkal yenar tula?
Thakre is smart enough to make his move. He is politically very shrewd. He would make the congress to expel Narayan Rane from congress party in lieu of providing support to the nuclear deal and even to the congress if motion of confidence is moved in the parliament.
Shiv Sena had earlier also supported congress during the preseidential election. This time also Sena would have its gain. There is no patriotism involved in this. There is no patriot left in thsi country.Everyone thinks of himself first.
