This Deal is about Dollar bribes. American nuclear industry is trying to sell their junk obsolete nuclear plants which the Americans will never use. Indian media, politicians, business community have taken a lot of bribes to sell thie country for a fistfull of Dollars. India media and a lot of politicians have taken Dollar bribes, so they are trying to misdirect the debate, even trying to create communal riots in Darjeeling( between Nepalese and Bengalis) and in Kashmir and certainly there will be a lot of Maoist attack now to deflect the public opinion.
The fact remains, this PM does not represent India at all. People are suffering from high inflation, unaffordable house price and rents, unaffrodable medical expenses, lack of job, farmers suicides, but this PM is not at all interested about these pressing proble. He is more interested to 'save his face' to George Bush. Thus George Bush is his real boss and Sonia Gandhi is his deputy boss but the people of India have no meaning for him. Electricity can be produced by 100 different ways, nuclear is not the only option or the cheapest option. Nuclear weapons are much more important, but this PM is very much willing to give up these. This PM is the new Mir Jafar of India. Bal Takre is a thug, a criminal, obviously he has taken a lot of bribes. Now go on and shout COMMIEE COMMIE COMMIE 108 times, you will get a laddu from Bal Takre
Whatever one may think of the Sena, at least they are right on one thing- issues of national interests take precedence over narrow, parochial interests, and even if what they are saying is purely out of political expediency, then who cares, as long as it benefits the country. It's no secret that CPI-Communists will do anything to forestall closer Indo-US relations, at the behest of their Mandarin masters, but they must not be allowed to subvert an entire nation with their despicable treachery.
congress badly needed a PM like Narasingha Rao to make the N-Deal pass/If he Was there The left would been split into two now. Congress badly missng him
Clause 103-b-4 states "Secure India’s full and active participation in United States efforts to dissuade, isolate, and, if necessary, Sanction and contain Iran for its efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction, including a nuclear weapons capability and the capability to enrich uranium or reprocess nuclear fuel, and the means to deliver weapons of mass destruction."
The clause is pro-India. We cannot have another nuclear neighbor. China & Pakistan is bad enough.
This clause is the reason why the Left and BSP term the agreement as anti-Muslim. The question is why the BJP joins them in opposing the deal - for a few Muslim votes?
Shiva sena attracts all nations's attention for all wrong things. suspect strongly it is collaborating with congress under a "soi-disant" Hindu BANNER.
America is regularely supplying free wheat and and cooking oil (that too good quality)to all the developing and under developed nations for the poors students in schools for the past fifty years. Where as the rich gulf nations regularely fund the terrorists to do terrorist activities in the world wide. They never help the poor nations in any way. Is it possible to have 9/11 attack without any govt help? Is it possible to smuggle rocket launchers to Kashmir without Pakistan help? Is it possible for the meek palestianians to fight the mighty Isreal without the gulf funding?

America is a great land full of great people. Just think if instead of America any other country like Iran or Iraq would have been so powerful. There would not have been any freedom.
These guys are our best friend in the present world. Forget the past and lets stand with them at all costs.
MMS must have thought all the pros and cons of the deal. We need not worry much. If he says, it is good for the nation, it must be good. All the non conventional sources are not yet that success for the money invested. They are still in primitive stage. After all, America is one of the very decent country. For that matter, non of the developed nations cheat anybody. We can blindly follow them. There is no nation, which followed America, was cheated so far. See Saudi. All their oil is extracted by America and these saudis are getting money simply sitting. They do not know how to take out oil. See Pakistan, they get lot of monetery help from America. They have guts to challenge India only because of America. America helps the third world by giving free wheat and cooking oil. Is there any other country do this. They help the third world during calmities. Did you hear any time these rich Gulf nations do such humaniterian work any time?
First of all why congress is not asking BJP support? BJP and SS have already gone one step ahead in national interest that they are supporting the deal with small modifications. Now it is congress turn to put one step ahead. BJP doesnt want to be ashamed by unilateral suppoting the congress. Because Congress is always on their toes to humiliate BJP. So majority do not want this. Majority will not be happy if BJP is humiliated. Anyhow if Congress is not signing the deal BJP will sign after the next election. Congress is worried that they will loose minority vote if they ask BJP support.
