The Centre today ruled out any cut in the subsidy extended to Haj pilgrims and said arrangements had been put in place for 1.2 lakh Haj pilgrims this year.
The first flight, carrying 7,500 Haj pilgrims will be flagged off from Lucknow tomorrow. Union Civil Aviation Minister Shahnawaz Hussain will be the chief guest on the occasion, while Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Lalji Tandon will preside over the function.
“In all 38 return flights will be operated, four more than last year at a total fare subsidy of Rs 163 crore,” Mr Hussain said, adding “this subsidy is 16 times more than what the Congress government had extended in 1994.”

Come next year when delimitation enforced it is going to prove biggest disaster for Congress & sicularist. Give them kashmir so they can have terrorist production in india now..Next day they will ask for delhi and other state but gujarat cuz they know there is no Gulam nabi azad in gujarat who can protect them.
I think it's a high time for all the hindus to unite. This is a worst example of secularism in India. I think all this congi mulla and PDP Biach should declare all half cuts are secular and they have every right on Indian Gov properties but hindus. Same on Indian Hindus and I am one of them.....

Mukhtar Ahmed, stop writing lies!!! You write in the article, "The simmering discontent and the allegations that the land transfer would lead to an ecological disaster in north Kashmir's Baltel area led to massive protests that continued to shut down the valley." This is just a plain lie. There were protests by the Muslims since this land was transferred to make facilities for Hindu pilgrims. This is the truth and you know that very well. So don't make excuses that the protests were due to allegations that it will cause ecological disaster. Instead, you should be condemning such actions by your fellow Muslims.
Lets make it very clear, Muslims protested because the land was given for the good of Hindu pilgrims. It seems Muslims in Kashmir are totally anti-Hindu and cannot tolerate anything good being done for Hindus. For that matter, Muslims all over India are totally against Hindus, thus Muslims are not condemning such crass behavior by their fellow Muslims in Kashmir.
Hindus have been butchered in Kashmir in the past and now it seems they cannot even be provided facilities for pilgrimage.
Solution: Make India a Hindu country. Secularism is a sham on Hindus.
