Nuclear deal
by chand madan on Jan 31, 2008 05:31 PM  Permalink

I don't trust congress govt's.They can take many u turns for their benifit.Look at reservations. It is in mess.No body gets benifitted.Money power can twist rules. The right approach would have been finding the people who are economically week and such cannot rise. This should have been on castless lines.Such people only be given appartunity to elevate themselves economically educationally etc.If financial assistance is neccessry,It should credited directly to their bank accounts, thus eliminating middleman.uestion is Will they do it?

N deal and BJP
by Robert Spice on Jan 31, 2008 05:30 PM  Permalink

Yes BJP should suppoert the deal and so far I read they are not against deal but have some concer. Present government seroiusly talked with them for support. They form a committee between goverment and govt. supportive Communist, who never seems nationist. Goverment should have formed all party committee and decided the deal. But govt. too not want same they also want politics to go on such a national subject. Thus don't blame BJP . It is govt. resposibility to discussand, debate and take country in confidence.

N Deal

Good sense should prevail over our indisciplined political leaders, for whom their vote bank is supreme, nation is secondary.

The N-deal and CPM-BJP combine
by samir banerjee on Jan 31, 2008 05:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is unfortunate that only 1500 words are there to express any openion on such an important subject.
Mr Subhramanyam is correct in his analysis.BJP
doesnt want the deal becouse it will give milage to UPA more so to Congress CPM is negative becouse of USA.None have any valid point to justify their act.Communists are never
National concern but more on futile ideology
and China(Russia-old) looking.History will give
plenty of evidences. What surprises us is the attitude of BJP.For sole political interest thay
are sacrificing National interest.Dr Manmohan Singh must go through the deal and face the
Nation for mandate on the subject.N-deal will
follow Indias parmanent seat in UN SC.Hyde act
has nothing to do with Indias option to conduct
N-blust.Pressler act did nothing to stop USA to
suplly arms and fund to Pakistan even after the
clandestine Neuclear proliferation was ditected
Likewise US will look for the reasoning for
such act in the name of National security and self protection measure. The whole world including China want India to have the deal but
BJP and CPM must help Pakistan who will resist
all act to impliment the deal.Dr Manmohan Singh
will have National support for the deal.

Beta this is all politics...once congress comes to opposition... even they'll oppose the project .... See everything is for political gains .... BJP raises ram mandir issue only during election ....but never solves it .... similarly congress actually ignites communal passion... but never takes action during voilence.... u see 70% of we Indians are not even 10th pass so these people dont understand these nuclear stuff... and remaning 30% people they can easily fool 15% ... so no one really cares for the remaining elite 15% .... who seldom go to the polling booth and vote...

As a constructive opposition party, why can not BJP give support for N-Deal , that way it will be a lesson for anti-INDIA commies.

That's main problem with India. India got a very weak opposition party - read BJP. BJP always claims they are the only party standing for India and Indians. When it matters they are a bunch of jokers. Even though everyone claims Manmohansingh as a weak PM. Its only because of him the deal has come to this stage. So it's the responsibility of the WE THE PEOPLE to stand behind like a rock and tell the parties - WE THE PEOPLE of India matters actions, not tall claims by the parties
