Nuclear Deal
by Dogra Narinder on Feb 01, 2008 12:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian public at large in present India is brain dead. You can judge that from watching Indian Soap Operas such as Star TV and its derivatives.
How else could one billion souls be mislead by handful of Niketas?
These communists are leading India to financial ruin.
It takes 7-10 years to build a nuclear power plant with support of 5-10 thousand people. Just think of jobs.
It takes 4 years to beat a 600 steel ingot into shape of of GE BWR.
More you delay, more you stay economically backward.

Agree,
Indians more interested in commies and calling everyone as paki, than start thinking themselves.
Eventually bird flu will spread everywhere and indian will leave on burning chickens.

Indian Can do the Building of Plants Themselves.
The Latest Tech with India Can build Nuclear Plants within 5.5 years itself.

The Issue is about the Strings Attached.

Solar & Wind Energy Save us in the interim.

USA will doom If We delay the Deal, and Start ReNegotiating - We will get all we ask on a platter.

As I said many years ago to understand the difference between Solar/wind energy and Nuclear energy is to understand the difference between kilowatts and megawatts.

What nuclear power plants India is building are mere toys compared to modern nuclear power plants in terms of size and technology. Russia does not even come close.

Nuclear deal will be like a transpiration

india definately have nuclear shortage. If its says no to nuclear deal India need to put trillions of dollar to develop few more nuclear power plant or to develop power using natural resources which might get exhausted due to constant abuse. SO if India need to have growth in accordance with its population it has to go in for Nuclear power plant and this nuclear deal is what will help it get the required energy at cheaper rate. On the other hand US will get into india which it has not be able to do till now. But I don't think India will be at security risk probably with US more depended on India and more Indian origin in US at key post it will be good for India as this will make the US willing to stop going extra yard into pakistan and help us in maintain our borders more secured. On the other hand nuclear may have long term envirnomental hazards thats true with any form of development. Everything comes at cost.

WITHOUT THE ECONOMIC POWER OF USA, Pakistan cannot do anything.

The very reason why Pakistan does what it does, is to destabilise and force India to American demands.

WITH out the Deal, US will go Bankrupt.

Indians unlike the Westerns, have much lesser Consumerism. Nothing will happen If we have a shortage of 4.5% of Power(Nuclear).

Indian know How to lead a conservative Life.

The demand for nuclear energy has surged worldwide for the reasons of better environment (clean air) and size of economy. China is going for 60 new nuclear power plants. They are not stupid.

In india you can not even breath, air is so polluted. The transport vehicles are using kerosene in place of petrol. Can you imagine the health problems?
What the heck, life is cheap in India and Niketas are making it worse.

Every job created by design and construction of nuclear power plants will create nine supporting jobs. Besides new support industries and skills will spring up. Priminister Dr. singh is economist and he thinks in long term.

Watch out
How US planned ahead to achieve their goal.

Just I wanted to mentioning one incident happened to their fellow G8 country--
The Americans are certainly have lot of nerve. First they pressured the white house and the US congress to compel canada into limiting its exports of softwood lumber to the US eventhough Canadian softwood lumber exports were traded fairly and without subsidy.
The effect has been reduce profits, employment and needed new investment in canad's softwood lumber companies. Next, the Americans turn around and start buying up canada's major softwood lumber producers which are available at a cheap price
BE AWARE OF US

No deal with 123

I say we hold the deal,as in the present form it seems through the media that India is giving up too much sovereinity to the US and there by halt all tests for ever. And when we do we still end up being loosers unlike the last time the ban by may countries didnt effect us. I support Nuclear energy, but need to know at what cost its coming in and what sacrifices. I dont think the developed world can deny us the place if we keep the economic mementem going. They need us as much as we need them. Only that they need us more, where as they going to sell all that hardware / defence / nuclear / retail etc when their own econimy isnt doing all tat good. Keep patiance they will come to us with key issues taken off. Till then we are not expected to sleep, but promote private enterprise to invest in Hydro / Coal / Gas energy. Anyway we cannot convert all our requirement to nuclear so might as well push up the plants of the other sources available.

Absolutely, This Deal And the Hurry is only to Boost the bankrupt Capitalist Nations of the World. (I am not a Communist.)

It is better We Encouraging Solar and Wind Energy is a very very Big way.

In the Name of Heavy Engg and High Safety Standards, The Developed World want to steal Our the possible growth Opportunties Available in India Today - Thru exporting their Obsolete And Un-EcoFriendly Technologies.

Understand All the Urgency of India if it really exists is ONLY Nuclear Fuel - And That is controlled By a Cartel.
The Deal is serve its purpose.

Does this man even know what he is talking? He is saying US administration can take congress for a ride, and he is banking on that. This amounts to saying that the government is US which is nothig but a trustee of the people will take its people for a ride for a indo-us nuke deal. Banking on somene's breach of trust to its own people to benefit you? What a fantasy?!!!

HUMAN SURVIVAL....NOT WISHES OF LILLIPUTIANS !!!
by ratnajayant gudavally on Feb 01, 2008 08:52 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Mr.K.Subrahmanyam and Ms.Sheela Bhatt,PM., and President,

( BOLD PRINT FOR AN AWAKENING PLEASE )

TIME IS RUNNING OUT. POLITICS IS DIFFERENT... NUCLEAR POLICIES ARE DIFFERENT, SPECIALLY WHEN NOT ONLY INDIA, BUT THE WHOLE WORLD IS BEING PUSHED TO A VERGE OF DEVASTATION. .....BY THE SHORTSIGHTED ENEMIES OF PLANET EARTH. THEY ARE INHUMAN AND INTOXICATED BY ADAMENCE OF SELF RIGHTEOUS PLANS EITHER TO OWN UP OR DESTROY THE WORLD. THEIR PROCESS OF THINKING IS " IF WE DO NOT GET WHAT WE WANT WHY OTHERS SHOULD GET AND SURVIVE TOO. "

THEY FORGET THAT THE PLANET HAS TO BE ENJOYED, SHARED AND UTILISED FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL, BY ALL INHABITANTS.

WISDOM LIES IN RISING TO THE OCCASION AND PROTECT THE PLANET FROM DESTRUCTION. WE CAN NOT THINK LIKE CITIZENS OF A COUNTRY.....WE ARE DESTINED TO THINK AS HUMANS OF A PLANET THAT HAS TO BE KEPT GOING FOR HUMAN SURVIVAL.

SATISFYING EGOS OF A SECTION OF THE POPULATION OF A COUNTRY DOES NOT STAND THE REASONING OF THE SURVIVAL OF A HUMAN RACE.

IT IS THE RIGHT OF ALL HUMANS, NOT FLAG WIELDING POLITICIANS OR LILLIPUTS OF A SPECK OF CIVILLIZATION.

LET GOOD WISDOM PREVAIL IF WE HAVE ONE IN OUR NARROW POLITICAL CONSIDERATIONS.

WE SHOULD NOT IN THE FUTURE FEEL GUILTY OF INDECISIVENESS THAT MIGHT JEOPARDIZE THE SURVIVAL OF REST OF THE WORLD, LEAVE ALONE OUR COUNTRY'S POPULATION!!!

THINK , THINK , THINK.....AND....ACT !!!

LET THE INTELLECTUALS SET A THINKING PATTERN AND WAKE UP THOSE WHO ARE IN DEEP SLUMBER !

First You decide & declare, What is your stance on the Deal.

I say NO TO INDO-US NUKE DEAL.

It is being proposed ONLY for Bailing Out the Rest of the World Out of Bankruptcy.

Given the Time Required to Realise the Deal, Build the Plants etc,
If We spend the Same Amounts and Time on Solar or Wind Energy, We will be able to generate Clean Energy and No Less than 3 times More than what would thru the Deal in the Next 15 Years.

The Gestation periods for Solar & Wind Energy is just Weeks and Months.

This Indo-US Nuke Deal is Sell Out of India For the Sake of Boosting the Bankrupt Economies of the West.

It is better, We don't have it.

US Economy is dooming And A Day will come very very soon when the US will be ready to give away the required Fuel in a platter with NO strings Attached.

Remember, When USSR collapsed Most of Its Technologies were clandestinely sold to Ultras around the world.

USA and Others will Officially Sell the Fuel to India for the sake of their own economies.

More Delay More Better.

We can ReNegotiate after a Couple of Years And We will surely be in a Better Position.
