by azaad on Jan 31, 2008 10:06 PM  Permalink

deffinetly it's a very bad signal in the higher ups.... these types of incidents hv become very frequent of late...policy makers need to do some serious introspection on their part and should come up with a good personnel policy

yeah same corrupt army allows u 2 sleep peacefully while guarding those remote borders at -40deg to 50deg. while u scream at a mosquito bite, these corrupt jawans don't twitch even when their blood flows in the face of enemy bullets. GET REAL & LEARN TO APPRECIATE TOO .... & yes "GET WELL SOON"

I agree to all the statments.. Though Mr. Mukundan has exceeded the limits by his personal comments.

Indian Army is no doubt, one of the best, brave and boldest armies in the world. I respect them and thank them for their services....

But it is true... that the several ranks of army is filled with corruption ( please refer to the definition of corruption b4 commenting back). And also remeber being corrupt does not mean...being a traitor... Mr Mukundan please attain a dignified language training.

We as common ppl dont see the machinery of the army heirarchy... i can say this becoz i have seen it from inside.... So also to Mav... u better get real.... espect the Army for the good reasons and at the same time criticise them for their faults.... that called gettin actually real.

killing for leave
by amrita sinha on Jan 31, 2008 09:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

it is a true fact that leave is only claim not right.but in the most cases jenuine leaves are rejected only due to ego problem of superiors.in some cases it is common that the cause of leave are always fake.but a senior officer should be able to distinguish the right and wrong cases to avoid such type of incidents.

also, the seniors need to be more sensitive in granting leave, or else, this will happen more.
