why work when u cant really reap the benefit..............
by PRIYA JOSEPH on Jan 31, 2008 10:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

i have noticed that people these days dont take leave even when they have the facility and boss's consent...all they want is perform and perform more. Some even postpone lunch breaks becuase of 'work'. Isnt that ironic? One reason why man works is for food and if he has no time to eat, is it really worth working?

You are right. Myself being in media I was posted in a remote part of the country. Work and loneliness leads to depression and it takes on the person. All one needs is to be with family. I am sure the CRPF jawan missed his family. But again even bosses are under pressure to follow orders.

You are right Kalyan!

Not only is it stressful, the personnel are paid worse than what coolies make on the railway stations in the large metros!

a matter of shame and disgrace
by MONICA SRIVASTAVA on Jan 31, 2008 10:48 PM  Permalink

leaves due or pending could never be holded. it is rights of employees in any organisation. the person who is misusing his authority should be punished bcos he is causing harm as well as not performing his duty. he is not doing any favours . but alas authorities are too low in values to realise such a small thing.it is a shame to misuse your power on juniors.

The DIG was insensitive to Raju's needs
by Sam on Jan 31, 2008 10:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Normally people do not shoot for no reason. The DIG maybe in-sensitive to Raju's needs, and he may have been doing this for a long time. He got what he deserved.

CRPF needs to change
by raogudalore on Jan 31, 2008 10:36 PM  Permalink

I dont understand why CRPF officials are denied leaves when the law and order Police officials or staff are given some relief. CRPF needs to understand that they are only "Reserve Police" and all the staff need not be on their feet like their colleagues in the Police Dept. Please seniors of CRPF when u can avail all leaves why trouble the juniors. Please change since many such incidents have taken place during the last one year and the seniors are loosing their lives. All are human beings and all need a change and they want to see their families and rest at home. Try giving leave to your subordinates and see the change in their efficiency levels. Meanwhile the Govt shd send these "leave sanctioning Officials" for a refreshing training at some administrative College to change their mind set. Please.

shame on govt
by devesh kalia on Jan 31, 2008 10:29 PM  Permalink

our govt has become so pathetic that they are only concerned with their own benefits and vote banks...even armed forces are not their vote bank..or they may even turn this event into a communal conflict...wait and watch...something is urgently required to arrest this frustation which has crept into our armed forces and every other comman man...before the bubble bursts...
