The only difference - he had a gun
by Antistupidity on Feb 01, 2008 01:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What this guy felt for his boss is nothing less or nothing more than what countless employees in various companies feel for their bosses.

The only difference - he had a gun!

Saddist bosses
by Sandy on Feb 01, 2008 12:44 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Many senior army men are sadist and harass jawans. Low salaries and high stress add to the agony. Senior officers should be show some empathy and understand that Jawans are NOT slaves. They have their self respect.

killing senior officers in armed services is old fashion
by mrigank on Jan 31, 2008 11:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

killing seniors for the deniel o fleave in armed services are not new things. some years ago employees of such organizations were tolerant enugh and only satisfied with manhandelings or abusing the authorities. but now a days they are tightened their belt to remove the corruptions and evil of arrogent from the armed forces. they have started washing and cleaning the dirts. i feel ,the jawans should not kill them but kick them till semi death status.the fasion should change.

What do you know abt man management in forces? its not abt intellectual human capital mgmt like any other private Co. Its abt no compromises with security of country and following rules more important than giving leave at times when it is really not very necessary.

What do want to highlight by saying "following rules more important than giving leave at times when it is really not very necessary"? Do you mean to say the jawan in hyderabad was defending border at Siachin or Arunachal pradesh where posts cannot be left unmanned even for a minute. The incident took place in Hyderabad, where replacement personnels were/ are readily avialable. like all of us, the jawan had every right to avail leaves , if due.
The poor young man did not calculate the implications and ruined the lives of two families in a fit of anger. It is difficult to support him, it is more difficult to ignore his 'right to avail leave' as per his need.

by Indian on Jan 31, 2008 11:16 PM  Permalink

Mental stress in Low grade staff is high in CRPF and police dept...when some one badly need leave, DIG rank officer should not pinch lower rank people although he has over power....if refuses with out valid reason, this is the result.

All this can be achieved if he gets a good liar oops Lawyer!

Our lawyers know that they can't win a case if their client wants an early settlement of the case. They have learnt that bribing expedites the case.

Unfortunately, this jawan cannot afford such a lawyer. He will rot in the system now.

OF BLOATED EGOS AND SUPERIORITY COMPLEXES.
by ratnajayant gudavally on Jan 31, 2008 11:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Leave from duties is a privillege of an employee. When denied repeatedly the sufferer can go to the extent of vengence or even leaving his job, specially in Forces and Law and order establishments.

Proper HR norms are to be laid down in such cases.

INDIAN BRAINS WIELDING POWER SHOULD CHANGE FROM UPSTART MENTALITIES. TO A MORE MATURE AND HUMANE SERVICE RELATIOSHIPS.

The BRITISH SET A WONDERFUL SYSTEM OF ADMINISTERING IN INDIA AND OTHER COLONIES RIGHT FROM BRITAIN. DISTANCE AND HEIRARCHY DID NOT MATTER IT WAS A SUPERIOR DISCRETION OF THE ADMINSTRATORS THAT MADE SYSTEMS ACCURATELY TUNED TO PREVAILING CONDITIONS OF THE RULED

THIS KIND OF BOSSISM AND BOSSES LIKE' SAADU' ARE COMMON IN A NEWLY RICH AND SELF AGRANDIZING SOCIETY OF A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY LIKE INDIA>

PEOPLE'S MORAL CALIBRE HAS TO CHANGE.

EVERY ONE THINKS HE IS A KING. FALSE PRESTIGE AND BLOATED EGOS.
