Reading another religion's Holy book is not a mistake, it will actually do good as far as knowledge is concerned. I too read Ramayan and Mahabarat.

He would have got the admission through minority quota depriving meritorious forward class students. This is indian democracy(crazy). It is high time, the entire constitution has to be rewritten and it is totally biased written by Ambedkar with ulterior motive of bringing the SCs and STs in to mainstream and depriving/sidelining the talented and meritorius. In sixty years, the forwards have become most backward and the most backward have become most forward enjoying all fruits from the toils of few forwards. Politicians are having a hay day playing dirty caste politics. Britishers have clearly understood the Indians and magnanimously gave independence to our country.

Why you do post at rediff take a delegation and speak to the concerned ministry. Why not BJP government remove this subsidy who could say or do anything. The day this game of Hajj subsidy over, Air India may bank corrupt and many people making money will stop. After subsidy the Hajis are paying Rs. 30,000 whereas private airlines ready to take hajis with just RS. 20,000.
