Get back BJP and get back POTA
by Singha on Jan 28, 2008 04:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Pota will make non-violent islamists (oxymoron?) think twice about harboring violent islamists - the foot soldiers. After all, Islam does call for ordinary musalmaans to protect the mujahids.

Verrappan
by Kolhapuri on Jan 28, 2008 04:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The karnataka police could not catch Verrappan when a journalist could get his interview. This is even more dangerous person with secular friends in Italy. So you can imagine what the karnataka police will be doing.

Ain't nobody gonna do nothing, man. Not until a formal govt. is in place and can take credit for his arrest or, in case of BJP in power, can execute him in an encounter. Until then, secular types will give Bilal all the chance to move about and plant false stories thru secular media.

Bilal
by BS BALIGA on Jan 28, 2008 04:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Arrest Bilal and save India?? What a joke. Not till next assembly elections. Such an action will anger the minority community so Cong will lose votes. Then even if they arrest him, they can not hang him for he will become a martyr otherwise.

So braze yourselves for more attacks on civilian targets.

he'll be sacrificed for congress' image sake. congress perceives he is not worth saving 'cos their image will take a beating if he's rescued from death row.

amazing isnt it ? for political parties - its not about good governance, but its how the public perceives them!

So right you are. After all, the only way the congressis can 'prove' they are 100% secular is by sheltering such people. If they slap you on one cheek, show them the other. And pretty soon, they will run out of cheeks - these congressi suckers.

by Fab Reens on Jan 28, 2008 04:08 PM  Permalink

The Devegowdas, of course, for holding the entire state at ransom for their own pithy gains. Shahid Bilal may be shielded by JD(S) - the (S) being significant here for secularists. As long as K'taka hides in the pallus of Congress, JD etc. parties, they'll have more Bilals to tackle. Just call Modi, the iron man, to straighten, er, iron things out. Then see K'taka prosper..
