Ur quiry is ill-logical one.

Defence is niether politics nor drama or film(the make believe World).

Whom do you know better - your mother & father

or

Lalu and MKS(Maut ke Saudagar) Narendra Modi?.

There lies answer to your question.

Neither Lalu or MKS Modi nor Amitabh Bachan
has
any of thier kith or kin in Defence Force;
they all mis-lead you;
but defence people protect
your frontier,
Mother land and
offer thier life, in this process.

Just FYI, so called MKS does not have children...so also, simply because he isso called MKS, guys like you and the likes who clear NDA can dream of doing it...otherwise they will die in riots engineered by Congis and Lalus.

i do not understand why school children these days are taken to fun parks on their annual excursion days. These excursions are meant to be educative tours. In our days we were taken to factories, dam sites, power stations, etc. I think young children need to be exposed to the armed forces early in life. Can they not be taken to the local garrisson headquarters and see for themselves how some citizens have chosen to serve our country? That would be more meaningful than spending precious time, money and an excellent educative opportunity during a school or college excursion.Also, it may lead some of the youth to pursue a career in the defence services.

Theirs is a noble profession. They risk their lives to defend the country. They live away from their homes in very difficult conditions. It is for the grateful nation to pay them well, so that they can provide financial security and their families are able to live with dignity. All will agree that their contribution towards the nation is more than the corrupt politicianns`. Yet, see the difference in the condition of both.

IS ARMY REALLY HONEST?
by Narad on Jan 27, 2008 07:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is well known fact that millions of Bangla Deshis have crossed border to live in India.

If Army heroes were doing their duties not sleeping or taking bribes was this possible??

The one thing no body understands is the it is not the Security forces who are currupt but because of the politician who do not want to give competent orders to handle that kind of situation so as to gain vote bank. I do agree that there is corruption in security forces but not in compromising our country's Security.

dear friend,

i am a patriotic person myself, but what he mentions about porous bangladesh border is a truth that we have to accept...BSF is totally corrupt, and lets a bangladeshi cross over for as small amount as Rs 25 as bribe..Go look at delhi, delhi has over 30% Bangla population now, most of them have converted and adopted Hindu names, most day workers, maids are Bangla speaking.

rgds,

Army Officers
by Ashwin on Jan 26, 2008 07:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Deokinandan Sharma, its your soft words which harm such brave officers. Our Govt does not want to give death sentence to terrorists who blast CRPF, CISF, Army bases, Parliament etc. India wants to handle terrorists with soft handle. And in turn they kill these young officers. That is the naked truth. India wants to feed 5 Start food to Afzal gurus, Sheikh Azhar Mahmood (who was released after Indian Airlines flight was hijacked to Kabul) spend crores on their security, give them legal aid or there are 1000s of muslim organisations to fund them to fight in the court, to get released OR even attack the Police (as it happened in Hyderabad) if any Indian Muslims abetting terrorists are nabbed by the Police. Such Politicians & Politics, certainly bright young men would not like sacrifice their lives. India better handover their Armed Forces to Israel for 1000 years to route out the rot from the roots and protect India from Pakistan & Islamic terrorists.

It is pathetic that these brave souls who stake their lives so that we can live peacefully are poorly paid.Every body blames any body expect himself. Let every one of us do some introspection and think whether only our politicians, bureaucrats are dishonest, manipulating.
