Custom officials are criminal in uniform
by Kumar on Jan 24, 2008 10:50 PM  Permalink

They are all criminals in the uniform of custom agents. They should be inside the jail cell rather than acting as inspectors.

Corruption
by Patriot on Jan 24, 2008 08:37 PM  Permalink

Airport authority of Mumbai is controlled by shivsena unions wherein corruption and marathi is the requirement not the person capabilities.
Hence no body will take responsibility as its shivsena matter.

Couple of time I have travelled through Mumbai I never had a bad experience

Emergency care in very bad in India. On road or airport it is the same. India is fast developing hope to see the western standard emergency care in India in few decades.

Unfortunate but way of life.

The death was unfortunate but thats the way of life. From the looks of it, there was not much which could be done, because one cant provide ICU kind of treatment immediately at airports and some patients are at such critical situation that its impossible. Some patients do manage to get through it.

May his soul rest in peace.

ok, but i don't buy that critical care can not be provided within seconds of a reported incident in country of billion with super surplus manpower, need for employment and need for mordernization in a booming economy. and in its own financial capital? shame.
