I am not at all religious, but I am still a Hindu. I don't go to temples and I don't pray either. When I am with non-Hindus, religion of others does not even come to my mind.
All these days I thought I was a true secularist, meaning I leave my religion at home and come out to work with fellow humans.
But understanding the secualarism practiced in india, I do not want to be a secularist. I want to be a Hindu communalist.

If french Govt decides to reward MF Hussain, and you support the decision, then I shall also support this decision. Dont you realize the politicians play with our minds? This is deliberate political stint.First of all why is the French Govt interested in awarding taslima naseern? What I feel is, the congress guys must have asked them to just pose that they want to award her, so that congress govt "protests" it and gains Muslim sympathy. We all should stop reacting to such political gimmick and stay united. You think entering poor muslim slums and killing old men , women and children and raping girls and women was an example to be followed? If some body does the same to your or your family members(God forbid), then you will realise the root cause of all the mess.May God protect you from such ordeal and guide you.

Instead of answering the question why you give unnecessary comments. We all would like to know what was her writings that hurt the sentiments of muslims. If muslims feel that she hurt the sentiments of muslims by her writings, hindus also should feel hurt on MF Hussains paintings where he has painted hindu goddess nude. There should not be one rule for muslims and another rule for muslims. Generally, I do not favour hurting anyone's sentiments, but rules should be common for all.

By revealing, how muslims society behave toward other religion and women. What type of leadership is provided to them by their elite religious instution. These all are revealed through a story of Hindu faimily lives in Bangladesh. Read the book "Lajja" by Taslima. Its a work of fiction.
