Are we secular India or Islamic Republic of India. Why this govt is preventing the other govts from honouring this writer, if they cannot value her writtings. They need to be explained the correct meaning of Secularism. If she doesnot gets this award the let Shahrukh also not be allowed to take his award.

correction - it is time for the hindus to act against the muslim appeasers and for the country or we are going down again like how we went down to babur and then clive. the shiladityas and mir jaffers of this country should be countered now before it will be too late.
That is expected from the UPA govt. They are afraid of the muslim votes. But had the French govt decided to honor M.F Hussein , then they would have readily accepted.
