Hey Pradeep, a famous poet Vemana said if you put a dog on a golden throne it still is and behaves like a dog. Its very unfortunate that Pratibha Patil is made the president. And its more unfortunate that you have to respect and support her. Ugly (character) is definetely bad. Sexy looks is always good.

Just because some junk is now sitting on the president chair, we can not respect that junk.

Well for that matter our Krishna was not that behind in wooing 100 'radhas'!!! the Men must have had a really tough time during his reign!!!
For some stragne reason everyone in India thinks that every white person is a devout christian, where as i have met more devout catholics in India than in UK in the past or in Netherlands now!!
Do you think Sonia Gandhi or Sarkozy will get offended or it will affect them in anyway if you repeatedly attack Christianity?
On one hand we all like to boast about how India is the largest democracy, multi-linguistic, multi-cultural and religious society!!
looks like all our country's problems have been solved by making the would-be Ms Sarkozy not to gracefully attend our R-Day and country visit.. So much hypocrisy and too much morality enforcement in a country whose mythology and history speak high of respect accorded to a woman in her own right .. all of us are trying to enforce our will and whims and fancies on other than self .. where do we go from here ??
On a Republic Day Parade there should be something like an exchange!
India should parade her armoury and France should parade her beutiful women!
If Indians are any sensible, they should welcome Carla Bruni and accord her some status so that she is visible to the whole nation on the TV screens.
But south block jokers had invented all kinds of rules to prevent her from coming! Had it been some other nation they would have accommadated her somehow.
Look at from some other angle! When you want to do business you need your primary guest i.e. Sarkozy in a happier mood! Right! Then why on earth these south block morons are depriving Sarkozy his own pleasure and making him to get into a foul mood? It doesnt make good business sense, at all!
When Morarji Desai was just a cabinet minister in Nehrus cabinet, when he and Indian Ambassador to the US BK Nehru wento together to places, some Western nations have asked them if they want some nice girls for entertainment when they stayted over some night resorts. Morarji Bhai shoo shooed them any way, and that is a different story!
