Muslim Morality
by Veja Biral on Jan 19, 2008 10:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In my opinion, Muslim Morality is nothing to do with killing women, innocent, non-muslims. It is an act of power struggle, some peolpe want to enjoy power by means of religion though they don't follow any religious practice.
Any opinion ?????????

dude..if u think it is about enjoying power, then USA would hv just taken over Iraq by killing everybody who comes in their way.
It is just that they do not want to kill everybody (Muslim terrorists do kill eveybody who come in their way).

If you are talking of religious practice then ..why the hell 99% of muslims keep silence when these religious extremists kill thousands of innocents by following their cowardly acts of suicide bombing etc

Regarding the USA: What do you think they were doing in Afghanistan and Iraq even after the UN opposition. I don't think Bush was helping build nurseries for children there.

Regarding Religious Practice:
Do you do something when the RSS act like a set of clowns or when there was all this rioting in WB? Thats human nature dude. If everyone were to respond in kind, there wouldn't be a living sole on earth

RE:Religions are Made of Myths
by Raj Royale on Jan 19, 2008 10:02 PM  Permalink
Ape man, by the way apes are also hindus, because they worship nature and believe in karma yoga.

Secndly Ram, Krishna, Ganesh, Indra, etc, are NOT myths. they are so deep into history that history has become mythology

Thirdly for every scientific and rational thought, just dip into the vedas

Ram is not mythology, because if it were, then the geography that is described in his history would also be mythology - which it actually is not. And if you say that why there are no buildings which are 20,000 years old, then I challange you to show any constructive proof of the TWN towers standing where they were, now and maybe 2000 years from now, this history will become mythology

dacoits cannot be called religious extremists, Veerappan was a sandalwood smuggler. Phoolan devi was a dacoit carved out of social circumstances, both of them were not fighting for Hinduism.

Whereas right from bhutto to bin laden and from babar to a average muslim are basically all Jihadists

One of the greatest misconceptions about Islam, not only amongst the non-Muslims but even amongst the Muslims, is that concerning the concept of Jihad. Non-Muslims as well as Muslims think that any war fought by any Muslim for whatever purpose, be it good or bad, is Jihad.

'Jihad' is an Arabic word derived from 'Jahada', which means to strive or to struggle. For example. if a student strives to pass in the examination he is doing jihad.

In the Islamic context, 'Jihad%u2019 means to strive against one%u2019s own evil inclination. It also means to strive to make the society better. It also includes the right to fight in self-defence or to fight in the battlefield against oppression and against aggression.

Not only non-Muslim scholars, but even some Muslim scholars mistranslate the word 'Jihad' as holy war. The Arabic word for 'holy war' is 'harabum muqaddasah' and this word is not to be found anywhere in the Qur%u2019an nor in any hadith. The word 'holy war' was first used to describe the crusades of the Christians who killed thousands of people in the name of Christianity. Today, this term 'holy war' is used to falsely describe Jihad, which merely means 'to strive'. In an Islamic context, Jihad means 'to strive in the way of Allah for a righteous cause%u2019. i.e. Jihad fi Sabilillah.

Raj, You r very right right. In Islam no modern thinking is allowed, every body should think the way it is specified in Koran. This is the source of misguidance of that community.

If Islam means Peace then what is Peace ?. Islam means violence and deception.Muslims are the victims of Islam since it teaches muslims to die for Islam without knowing once they die they are going to hell. May God save muslims.

Islam doesnt mean Peace. The literal meaning is submission to god. Get your facts right first. From seeing all that is going around and teaching of kuran, we start wondering if islam means violance and terror.
