The Congress tried its best to depict Modi as a devil and defeat him electorally. They were ably supported by almost the entire national news media and the self claimed "secular" brigade. All these groups ganged up against a single individual. Every attempt of these people only made Modi stronger and Modi came out with a huge victory, which none of these people imagined he would achieve. Almost immediately after news of his victory started to come in, the entire group started their new tune about Modi's ambitions and how he would try to come on to national stage of politics and how top leaders of BJP are worried about Modi's ambitions etc. They tried to create myths where none existed. This seems to be their new strategy to try to break BJP and move it away from Modi. These people should realise that every attempt they have made till now has only succeeded in making Modi more stronger. So, in that sense, they are infact helping Modi and that is indeed good for India.
Just like Modi, who keeps repeating that there is no such a thing called Hindu terrorists, these guy wants to rule out the possibility of Hindu terrorism FOREVER.Most Hindus have started to develop a theory that Hinduism,by its innate nature, does not create terrorists.Even if Hindus do get involved in such terror activities, its only a natural reaction to fight Islamic terrorism engulfing them. [Or they do not brandish their religion while killing people (ex. LTTE).] Its very easy to argue that every act of terrorism on this planet is a natural reaction to an action that preceded it, and thus going back all the way, we can only blame Adam and Eve for all terrorist activities. This way the present generations can shirk all accountability The basis for a lot of articles here is hatred (or your so called concern) for hindus and right-wing (whatever that is). If educated Indians are good at something, I began to believe, it is sophistry. Playing with words! I get to hear such convoluted logic all the time. Here, the commenter equates my concern with hatred and then equates hatred to terrorism to get the final result- this blog will eventually lead to terrorism. What gets missed in the whole scheme is that the very basis of this blog is fight terrorism and all forms of violence by using dialog, discussion, and bold actions, instead of resorting to propping up one terrorist organization to fight another.

LTTE can by no stretch of imagination be termed as Hindu terrorists. No judgement is being passed here about the validity of LTTE or otherwise of their fight in Srilanka.
This kind of psudosesecualr journalists are real threats to the progress of India. By bad mouthing their own people and going against the common public opinion they get some kind of self perceived pride of being special and a feeling of grandiose. Also some people are writing against BJP/Mr. Modi so they would look "good " in western world. Believe me, no body gives them a damm. They got away with this kind of bogus writings untill now but today in the age of internet and blogs they will be exposed.
There is a large section - self righteous, publicity seeking, backward bending media which wants to earn encomiums from the west and want to be seen as secular and neutral. They are none of these. They are not able to stomach the victory of Modi - which is a gash on their face after working hard to pull him down. So they will not rest till they sully his image and pull him down some how. I am sure that within a year they will find some reason to ask the centre to apply Rule 356 and pull his government down. I am also sure that Congress is looking for a "suitable" governor for Gujarat so that they can do it. They experimented with Buta in Bihar, Jamir in Goa and they have a stock of more such pliable governors who will do the bidding. The combination of "politically correct" journalist and a greedy congress - both wounded - is a potent combination. Modi better watch out.
In the TV News Media, personal opinions of the Anchor or the reporters at the spot is being passed off as News. Often one can witness TV Jurnos asking their reporters "so what in your opinion is Congress going to do now....." or " why do you think Modi said this....?". One fails to understand how a reportes opinion is News!
Accordingly, this article about Modi seems to be the opinion of the author and need not necessarily be the truth. In any case, even if it is the truth, there is no reason to write the same in the way it has been, just to try to create a wedge between leaders in a party. These jurnos have tried all these tricks during the Gujarat elections (able inspired and supported by the "Secular" minded parties and pressure groups) and they miserably failed. They are at it once again.
The attempt also seems to be to put Modi in a different light. As if Modi is not eligible to be a PM!!! As if it is a crime to have ambitions.

A corruption free individual and a development oriented person is indeed very much needed to lead India to overcome so many of the issues that India is facing right now. Modi more than fits these qualifications.

Right, plus Modi is among the very few people who has these qualifications and probably the only one to have confidence, pride and a spine strong enough to back up these qualifications.
I thaught journalists report! In India, they work on heresay, presume meanings and assume intents of simple statements. They wilify those with opposite ideology! Mister, this kind of journalism of your types led to Modi's fully deserved victory in Gujarat.

As much depressed or disappointed you feel about Modi's victory in Gujarat, be aware that media has been more or less against Modi and articles of this nature have been rare.
Modi has won for the development has he has brought to the state by adopting prudent state policies. After Godhra riots, there hasn't been any communal violence.
Evenif media doesn't exist, Gujaratis are going to vote for the person who brings development and growth.
notwithstanding his numerous drawbacks, india needs modi for quick economic development - do away with red tapism, corruption. only modi promises and delivers.
It is not that difficult for Modi to overcome the opposition. He has many tricks up his sleeves. Recently in Chennai, he thundered, I have put the MPs and MLAs in jail for committing corruptive deals... That too, even some BJP MP and MLA have been sent to jail. He must have thought who is going to verify these... Is there any Gujarathi who can give those names who have been jailed by Modi... ??This shows how false campaign they carry... What has he done with Baburai Khataria and the other MPs from Gujarat who took money to ask questions in Parliament...??

Bhai Ganesh, former BJP minister Babu Bokharia is in jail. Sons of couple of ministers were in jain (I am not sure if they are still in jail). Modi does not lie, the guy is in such a tight scrutiny from all over the media that he does not have any such privieleges.

YOU MEAN TO SAY MODI BHAI IS SOFT ? considering the article to be true, he has the guts to suggest the revival of sindhi separatism ... he has given great impetus to the making of gujrati economic powerhouse (although gujratis themselves deserve bulk of credit for that) ... just consider the way he has churned the bureacracy and been a tough and true task-master ... even his opponents in gujarat who complain of his dictatorship are frustrated as there is no scope for corruption ....MODI IS THE EPITOME OF EFFICIENCY!!
In the years to come, the modi mask will be gujarat's most popular export to all other indian states ... Jai Hind
