Last week, I came across three volumes of a new and ambitious encyclopedia on the history of Indian Science and Technology, a project promoted by Rajiv Malhotra of the Infinity Foundation, USA. It quotes Samuel Huntington writing the following in his much-discussed book Clash of Civilisations.
"In 1750, China accounted for almost one-third, India for almost one-quarter and the West for a less than a fifth of the world's manufacturing output%uFFFD In the following decades, the industrialisation of the West led to the de-industrialisation of the world."
Mr.Advani, who gave this information, What was the products of indian industrialisation of that period,Accepted europeans wanted the raw materials like cotton and silk or the spices from kerala.

He has given a statement and references. Why don't you do some searching and reading instead of making hollow howlers? India manufactured diamonds, jewellery, silk clothes, agricultural produce and much more. Definition of manufacture is 'making of articles'. Perhaps you are under the impression that only 'industries' manufactured goods.

Why not? Yatras have always been part of Indian culture since ancient time. Four major shrines in four corners of the country were established only to encourage every body to visit the whole country, so that it is tied firmly into oneness. Do you have any reason to oppose yatras?

Yeah because Rath Yatra is for divine and using it for ugly communal politics is not acceptable. And Mr. Anindya do you think BJP is not pseudo-secularists? They are and they are using "divide and rule" policy of English people to get the majority Hindus votes, how come they can be a secular party? Think if they don't oppose Muslims [thats for getting votes] will they get vote? We Muslims are proud man and without us they cannot get votes. will they? Who knows when election comes near we will see the real face of BJP, they will even triggor riots to get votes.

Jaffer Ali! You do not know that it is the Congis and the Commies are dividing the people. When ALL persons are EQUAL under the Indian Constitution, why should this UPA government leader say publicly, before the elections that too, that the minority has the FIRST claim on the nation's assets? Why talk of minority and majority when it is the question of only human beings? NDA wants all persons to be treated equally under the law and the constitution. It is the Minorities who make such a hullaballoo and always see everything thru the colored glass of their religion!
