This has the makings of a disaster...400,000 chickens have to be culled and only 4500 have been culled till now. At this rate, it would take close to three months to complete the culling...The attitude of the WB govt is disgusting to say the least...cover ups..that is what they do..after all there is nothing constructive that has happened in WB in the last thirty years...the whole state is in a time wrap ...people have been brainwashed for decades and the current state is a manifestation of this...

bird flu in west bengal is an epidemic (explosive or unexpected occurrence of cases) as of now and is yet to attain the pandemic (global, for eg AIDS, prevoius influenza pandemics in 1960s) spread. its in the hands of an effective government and health organizations to prevent it from happening. its not right to call the previous attacks in Maharashtra and manipur as pandemics.
It is the time CPM is also doing dirty, filthy politics. They are checking people whether they are supporter of CPM or not, then they will extend help. Otherwise those people has to join in CPM and carry their red flag to get their support. Can anybody imagin how barbaric CPM can be ? Only God can save people from the hand of notorious CPM and their goons; since Congress is active B team of CPM, Mamata is worst than Mad, and BJP is not in picture bacause of crores of illegal Bangladeshis.
WHO the real terrorist. After all these years people died because of bird flu is still countable. They sold medicines worth for billios because the scare. Not eating chicken. that is not the answer.. even water and veg. are polluted with all bad thing what you can think off..
Somebody made a terrible mistake at WHO assessing the bird flu and they are still not have the guts to say taht their assement went wrong.

For that matter even medicines are tested on animals. The point is that reducing animal products should be the ideal. A good way to start is to reduce the consumption of meat. Eating chicken once a week is better than eating it every day. Eating it once a month is better than eating it once a week. Not eating at all is best. Same applies to most other animal products.
We humans are a disgusting species. We make a lot of noise when terrorists, criminals, murderers and rapists are given death penalty. But we have no problem with killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent little birds for no fault of their own. Imagine killing one human being who is suffering from an incurable disease like AIDS and the entire world will look at you as if you are a great criminal. But people hardly have a problem with killing lakhs and lakhs of innocent birds. This is the height of human double standards.
There is nothing new in it. These cummies dirties anywhere they live. They killed thousands at nandigram, barrabazar has burnt to death, now they found out new way to kill the balance bengalis. i am sure they would have done this to kill mamta aunty and her family.. hahaha
