Kerala - C/o Gulf Tamilnadu - No Comments Andhra Pradesh - Telangana movement Karnataka - Ask Tamilnadu Bihar,UP - Their weapons are sophisticated than Indian Army's Bengal - Chinese will listen. Seven sister states - Instant death if you are non-assamese. Punjab - Khalistan Kashmir - Kidding? Rajasthan - They call you "paradesi". Maharastra - Vidarbha movement. UP - Bundelkhand, Poorvanchal etc ...
Due to the intrinsic cultural diversity, each State in India cannot 'productively' govern more than 2 million citizens. India should 'decentralize' 602 districts into States or Cantons as in Switzerland.

You are working at the Income tax office? How much are you paying??
If you had any respect for the constitution, you would not be saying this statement. South - North - war will go on. And what you you want?? get South out of India??
Yes, we do respect idli, sambhar, puttu. We respect our food, But i guess you dont.
If you have the feeling North is better than South, we dont have any problem with that!! No one is bothered as to your feelings, all we have to do is work hard and do something for our country rather than spending time filling our mind with useless hatred.

A Constitution which can not impartially take care of all states should not be cared about by the people of an aggrieved state.

What is happening in northern states? Do you think it is all Hunky Dori? It is only because of South Indian states Hiduism is even preserved( please note Hindutva vadis) Let us take noth India States Kashmir- ? less said the better Punjab- Not too long ago they wanted separate Kalistan North Eastern states- They dont know who is ruling them but definitely they dont want India ruling them west bengal- They think they are extension of Bangla desh and their bosses are chinese Bihar- national Pariah. No body wants them. Ask Mumbaikars. MP- very docile and nobody knows if they exist UP- In the news for all the wrong reasons So dont talk non sense. South India is very progressive. True Tamil nadu dravidian parties are crazy but they are more progressive than other states. South Indians are proud of their food in addition to other great attributes they pocess. Idly sambar Dosa etc are the most favoured snacks in India. Punjabi food is great too.

BTW mayavathi is saying some thing sensible. Yes UP is too big a state to govern. If a group of UP people want it that way so be it.
I, born and brought up in bundelkhand and was always wondering why this region is so backward in comparison to the neighboring areas of UP and MP. Being with such an odd geography this region need a lots of development. And carving out the region in a new state will give it a niche. I hope the people of the region will really be happy about the talks going on as much as i am about it. I think after congress and BSP this is the high time BJP and SP should come ahead and support the proposal. The development needs a push, the plight of the farmers is on nadir so the problem of the unemployment and investment. All i can say at this point of time, a very good initiative.
Politics in UP has never been worse then this. Leaders are just ruining the state. This disgusting Mayawati is no more than a piece of shit and the most corrupt woman in the country. Seems that Mulayam hadn't done enough with sucking UP's blood and now here she goes !
There is also an element of selfish interest in such demands for greater no. of states as it increases more legislative assemblies, with each smaller state having its own Chief Ministerial Office and the ubiquitous Cabinet.
More power to more mafia!
Why can the existing setup not tackle the aspirations of areas, that Ms. Mayawati is hoping will only be met by further divisions.
Mr. Yadav needs to wake. Smaller states as well as countries work and work well. Many European countries are smaller than UP and have higher per capita earnings than us. So are many Gulf nations. It is not important how big or small the state is...question is when will corruption be rooted out so that money can be used for development and not personal benefits.

abe pagala gaya hai kya.jaroor to mulayam youth brigade ka choutiya hoga.uske aate he UP ke somalia se bhi badtar halat ho jaati hai.sirf YADAVo ke aish hoti hai aur baki sab ke aise ke taise ho jaati hai. gadhe se bada gadha yadav bhi HERO BAN jata hai.
Linguistic division of the country into states was a big mistake. We should have followed the American pattern of drawing up the straight dividing lines either horizontally or vertically, with the exception of natural barriers like rivers, etc. This may be a good point for a debate for the time being. The advantages are many. The main being that regional and linguistic feelings will be suppressed for the good of the nation as a whole.
