reason for grievance
by Radhey Agarwal on Jan 14, 2008 02:10 PM  Permalink

The play cards should display the real cause of grievance against Modi, Chief Minister of Gujrat to enlighten people of India. Simply if one wants to be in news by demonstrations is good idea.

MODI'S VISIT TO CHENNAI
by VENKATARAMAN RAMACHANDRAN on Jan 14, 2008 02:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Let the people know MODI has not done any harm on his own. He had taken only preventive measures to protect one group of people from the onslaught of others. MODI is one of our Great Leaders of this Century. For his actions, he should have been given BHARAT RATNA. It is a great opportunity for our people in Tamil Nadu to receive him, get his advice and follow his guidelines. We need a person like MODI to be our PRIME MINISTER, to take decisive actions during crisis situations.

That is the difference between Kerala and TN
by SP on Jan 14, 2008 02:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Modi reached Kerala y'day night and today morning he had a darsan at famous Guruvayur temple and he performed various religious rituals there and his visit was so peaceful and no protest, nothing. But everybody is watching, what is happening in TN, the intolerant people, how they are behaving? After all Modi is a CM of a State and he became CM with the support of people, the same way Karunanidhi became CM. The State Govt and the people should not forget our heritage "Adithi Devo Bhava". You should also remember that a lot of South Indian people including from TN are working in Gujrat. So what is the meaning of such protests? Modi is a CM and after all he is a CM who is ruling a State for a decade. He is not a Rakshas. It is very bad of the people of TN and State Govt.

It will be undemocratic to prevent an Indian citizen from one state visiting another state.

Moreover such demos will galvanize hindus and hindu polarisation will take place.

It is incorrect on your part to generalise that TN or the state government or whole Tamil community is against Modi just because few CPM cadres are protesting. These protests are not sponsored by the State Government. Moreover, Modi will be having luncheon meeting with AIADMK leader. Hence, please stop rubbishing TN and its people.

Jaylalitha's new stance
by Sagar Phadke on Jan 14, 2008 02:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It seems that Ms. Jaylalitha is trying to toy with Hindutva card just bcoz she's not in power. History of her party and ideology is full of Anti-Hindu events. How can we forget harsh & unwarranted action taken against Sri Sri Shankaracharya ? BJP and Modi also should not fortget this past.

Real need of the hour in T'nadu is that people should become fully aware that "dravidian theory" is a myth cleverly created by socalled western pundits. All Hindus of the south should unite regardless of caste and creed. Freinds remember that when entire northern india was under reins of Mughals south india preserved ancient indian culture. "Cultural Pollution" in south was aggravated after Tipu's rule. So Hey Hindus unite and wellcome and re-convert our brothers who were misguided to islam and chirstanity. Entire Bharath from Himalaya to Sethu is ONE. and let the flame of this feeling ignite our minds.

What to commend
by Arumugam Sellamuthu on Jan 14, 2008 02:03 PM  Permalink

Even after discussing so many things about him he has won the election. Even after so much of humuliation one BJP leader have a lunch on meeting with JJ. People have many characters. First important thing is that they can be easily fooled. Second is that they have (selective)amnesia.

The people who does not have faith in Democracy can make the sound for his visit.

Also, the false secularist make this sound.

Expectation of this type of people are Hindus are to be suppressed in their own country.
