It is shame that one of the most power nations on earth can not control fire in small market in downtown Kolkata. Where are those fanatic Hindus that are ready to attack and fight innocent Muslims and Dalits? Can they do anything good for the country?

West Bengals clock stopped the day Commies took over. No development No Democracy No Technology they are still living in pre historic era. Imagine the amount of water in ganga goes waste in Sea of bay of bengal and they dont and cant use to douse the fire. What a shame !
Where is AAJ TAK? The way they had covered several "Prince" cases falling in holes minute by minute, they must be thinking this matter is not so urgent. Also had it been a fire in Rakhi Sawant's house, they would have covered it more appropriately. Had it been Aishwarya Rai's whether pregnant or not story, that would have been covered properly.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. AAJ TAK IS THE WORST NEWS CHANNEL I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHO GAVE THEM NUMBER 1 CERTIFICATE.
The fire rages. Why all this talk about illegal structure and all? Is the administration refusing to collect taxes from these traders? The govet is indifferent. They are busy holding rallies in support of Nandigram.
Most of those who are posting against the capabilities of the fire dept are unaware of Burrabazaar. It is like a very close ghetto and the accessibility is almost like the lanes of old Varanasi (except for 2 main roads which cut through it). The firefighters etc are not so communist affected and they have fought many fires and are very prompt. This must be a really big challenge for them.
The business community of calcutta should insist on making Calcutta a separate city state called Kali-ghar, on lines of Chandi-ghar in punjab-haryana. Only india-born should be allowed citizebnship of this state, no bangla-infiltrators. Then, a non-communist govt may be formed there without appeasement of moslems. A good international airport and proper travel infrastructure and progressive policies for development, without placing people at the mercy of political party in power and the police as their henchmen, can be achieved.

Looks like you are a professor of political history. Even if you are, what's the point in bringing in issues like China War when the matter at hand is a fire?
