In general we are hypocrates. Preaching one set of values and practising another. Last year there was a sting operation in Pentaluma county California. Out of 30 people caught on camera for soliciting sex with underage girls, 9 were Indians. There were latinos and Cubans too and only 2 whites. To coumpond the matters Indian consulate made casual remarks like the Mumbai police. We preach respect for women and murder them in the womb. We will not let pre-marital sex between consenting adults and yet highest number of underage girls are traded in south asia for commercial sex. Most people lose their virginity in brothels but they will not let couples even sit together holding hands in a park.
Moreover concept of western women being totally loose is wrong. Women and men here have very respectful relationships. The may not live the "saat janam tak saath" concept, but they do have very descipleaned behavior in public which is to say consenting adults do what they want but people will not force themselves on a girl even in a sex club. Yes there are sex crimes but the are not underreported as in India due to stigma and there are harsh punishments. Moreover unlike perception in India fun here means not just sex. Young people go skiing, camping, trecking, sledging or even play pool. All in all very healthy as compared to India. India needs to do serious rethinking on its problems and not blame the west. Anyone who lives here knows that. Incidences like Mumbai, Pune, Patna, Goa ....

Jaleel, what you mention is just one part of the story. It is not the question of hypocrasy nor culture. Crimes and sins do happen in all communities and societies. However it is the sense of shame or degree of shame thats attahced to these acts that counts. Mankind is born with inbuilt shame - especially the womankind. This is nature and any amount of liberalization will not take this away, only the degree shame will lessen. It is this sense of shame which has made it a crime to show the private parts in normal western tv or movies. You may see a woman topless but never completely nude, the fig leaf comes handy, why? Why this hypocrisy of west, show all or show nothing, why the fig leaf?
The moral degradation of west is very sever and has affected the individuals, it is sickeness of mind, loneliness, west has all material benefits then why the emptiness?
Though things do happen in India atleast the curtain is there. This is not hypocrisy, nor cowardness, but that sense of moral repsonsibility and shame which makes one hide his sins. Hiding ones sins is better than committing it openly.
Let us value what we have and preserve it for the coming generations.

I fully agree with you. Indians are the worst hypocrates creatures. Here in India everything is done and even worst behind curtain. Here also there are sex clubs, massage parlours etc, where openly everything takes place.

Men too have their self respect sir. Are men not modest? What about women seducing men? Does that not amount to molesting men? Why one set of laws for men and another for women?
in the present scenerio people can go to any extent to come in the limelight of newspapers.it is unfair to judge anybody before seeing both side of the coin.
dont blame the medical fraternity.Anybody will be tempted to do such things looking at the provacative low necklines and dresses the younger gennext wears.they blindly ape the west without keeping in mind the Indian male mentality.Come on gals keep up the indian tradition and be graceful, surely nobody will dare to touch you.

Ah I see. So you think it is automatically the girl's fault whenever a molestation happens. How sick and wrong can you be? If God forbid something similar happened to someone who was close to you - would you blame the girl? Do not talk out of your behind on such issues as completely covered women are the ones most raped in our God awful nation.

It is not question of fault.........
The criminal must be punished,,,,,,,,
but i have seen many girls..........
which are not dressed decently during shopping hours at mall.....
and many mire public places.......
If the girl moral and character is good, she do not want any one to mischeif with her in oublic place...... then she will never wear very short, exposed and semi- transpherent kind of dresses in public places at India....... Remember their is huge difference between Western culture and Indian culture........
Most of the time it is seen in pactice that so called news reportrs black mail the drs. Since these are the easy target. If really it happened with this girl it is shame to the cosmetic surgeon who so ever influential he may be. Must be panalised according to law. Dr Vithal MD
What is the truth? It is the girl's version of the episode against the doctors? How do we establish if the doctor is at falt? One too many incidents of such actions are being reported and must be investigated thoroughly to avaoid repetion.
Culture of kissing has been promoted by film industry in India. But they do it among themselves in films and their filmy parties and do not kiss others on roads or in parties. To kiss an unknown lady without her express consent is indecent. This fact should be known to all gentleman. I feel that image of women has got a beating due to indecent remarks and scenes in films and nobody speaks about such derogatory script writing and acts in films in Indian Parliament. Law and people should permit friendship and sex between two consenting adults to do away with the menace of rising cases of molestation and rape.

Radhey, women too have their responsibilities cut out. They CANNOT wear what they like and behave as they wish. Today, women's rights are becoming absolute and at the cost of men. The media is targetting men unfairly. How can men be bad and women be good? That is what the media and the laws are doing. Women should know what to wear and what not to. Men should respect women. Women do not have the right to talk about such things when they don't do their part of the job. What right does a lady have to arouse men on the streets by wearing sexy clothes? Remember, most women wear sexy cothes just to attract guys. But then, they don't want guys to be after them. They just get that sadistic pleasure.

You are absolutely right and I fully subscribe to your views and feel that we should advocate for some dress code for our girls in schools and colleges.
Cannot be pointed like this on any one. Girls may not be always write. Whole episode to be investigated properly otherwise such false/true charges may continue on many others.

you are right. Many women tempt men and then when things don't go as per their terms, they cry rape or molestation. The media supports feminists and pre-judge the case. They make an issue out of molestation and rape and report the feminist version. We men need to organise and fight for our rights
