STUPID !! don't you understand english? Bose was just replying to a question "do u think Jyoti basu can get the award?" and that too he did not say yes, he said "may be, if he fulfills the parameters". What else do you expect him to say? NO? can he say that? Just try to understand what you are saying before you come down with your stupid comments !!!

Arnab, thats what happens if you give English a priority over common sense. Thats what Bongs have done ever since English have arrived here.
Giving BharatRatna to Jyoti Basu would be a insult to the existing receipients.He demolished a well educated and already developed society to ruin.He does not deserve it.
Bharat ratna to Vajpayee for which achievement? For witnessing the demolition of Babri Masjid and not uttering a word against it when it was being demolished?.For not preventing Modi for butchering 2000 muslims during Gujarat riot and visiting riot hit places 3 months after the incident to shed crocodile tears.This was a cowardly act on the part of any PM of India.Is this the criteria for giving Bharat Ratna?

Don't talk non sense without knowing the facts. Babri Masjid is demolished because it is the place where Ram Mandir was there and it rightly belongs to Hindus.
It is Muslims who started Godhra and don't make uncalled for statements against Narendra Modi.
If you are not happy in India, go to Pakistan and see the state of affairs. Every day there are bomb blasts / suicide bombers / train accidents etc. You go and retrive the situation in Pakistan and Miya Musharaff will award you Pakistan Ratna award to you.
Henceforth, don't make statements against my great country INDIA (HINDUSTAN)

Who told 2000, you dont have right figures, it shows you are full of propagandist ideology. Who told you congress is not to be blamed for Babri Masjid. Read the history probe the reality how Congress was responsible. Also read the history as to why Babri got demolished. Read the history how many temples have been destroeyed by Muslim people. Its not one or two its in thousands. Who butchered whom, if you read history the real history not written by Congress you will find that Muslims lead to elimination of atleast 20 million hindus in India, and this is by conservbative approach. What happend in Gujarat will happen every where in India, if Muslims of other parts of India start behaving like they used to behave in Gujarat. In fact riots lead to one good thing among Muslims is that they have realised that they can not live barbaric life and they have started thinking of cicvil life. Central Ministry of education has said that since 2002 there has been increase in percentage of Muslims enrollment in schools. You know why? Because now Muslims who used to have professions of being goons have realised that they have to leave traditional occupation. I think for this Modi deserves Bharat Ratna, not just Bajpayee.

There was no Rammandir at Ayodhya ever nor it was demolished. Sangh parivar is not ready to agree to Court's verdict as it is not proved by any historical fact. Please read proper history not the one taught at Saraswati Vidyamandir

Mr. Bilal, Yes, its so sad that Babri Masjid was demolished. But Can you tell me how many people were using it? It was so so old and no one even cared about Renovating it too..I am so sorry on behalf of all those who supported the demolition..Again it has nothing to do personally with Vajpayee...Atal was a dynamic leader surrounded by Corrupt politcians who sold out India during his Regime...its not right to blame a Single man..but Since this forum and debate are about Jothi Basu..the most corrupted and Spineless (leader), but in Communism there is no concept of leadership I guess..every one is equal? I wonder how come he wins election every time and gets in to power..If CPM wants to play politics let them play..everyone knows Jothi is not even worth for that CM post...God Save India!! Despite what many have said, Mr. Jyoti Basu seems to be getting encomiums not only from the poor and lower middle class people of Bengal, but also from several distinguished economists for the way he lead much of Bengal out of poverty. Mr. Amartya SEn and Mr. Swaminathan Ankleswaria Aiyar are two examples.
Mr. Aiyar (a confirmed 'capitalist' if ever there was one) even anointed Mr Basu 'the poverty reduction champion of India' !!
The land reforms (to name just one of his several initiatives) carried out in Bengal during the first decade of Mr. Basu's reign have been acknowledged as a consummate success by every analyst of the Indian economy who has cared to consider it. Apart from eliminating abject poverty and human exploitation of the worst kinds, these also lead to a remarkable and steady rise in agricultural yields (primarily of rice).
To vilify Mr. Basu without knowing what one is talking about betrays only ignorance.
