From the beginning, Pakistan has identified itself on anti-India stand which incorporates anti as its core element.For many years, this element of anti-India was handled at the state level, involving the secret services, the army and the administration It had not involved the general population.But after 1971, when Pakistan lost the war decisively against India, and after Pokhran of 1974,Pakistan had to drop its carefully manufactured illusion that it could take on India in a conventional war. Using a previous half-successful experiment of 1965,the new warfare for future was designed to use incursion tactics (which resulted in Kargil, once again a failure). Pakistan is now reeling itself under consequences of their failed experiments. There are thousands of religious extremists who are trained to kill or die. And they will do that no matter what, if not against India or in Afghanistan, then in Pakistan. Benazir seems to one of the victims.
Once Musharraf leaves,the corrupt politicians will have a hay day and that will extinguish the last ray of hope for Pakistan to recover from morass of political instability and theft of its resources by corrupt politicians which has been going on since its inception.
The People of Pakistan do not understand that Musharraf is the best person to lead right now when they are facing dangers never encountered before.
On one hand,they have extremist/terrorists killing innocent Pakistanis in a non-religous,one way ticket to hell,no win,aimless,expedition,instead of fighting their real enemy USA in Afghanistan ,wasting their resources and man power and on the other hand,an arrogant USA,who is looking for every excuse to invade and occupy Pakistan,along with Iran,in a grand scheme to enslave Muslims.
Even though,such a US modus operandiby would be suicidal for US in the long run,that does not alleviate the stupidity plaquing Pakistanis and its consequences.Every nation rises to level of its stupidity,so will Pakistan. May be Pakistanis do not deserve a country like some of Indians who want to sell India to USA.
Class system prevailing in India,Pakistan for centuries after all may have a reason and might have been designed to judge at a glance the character of the people involved. Its only a low class people who would sell their country or daughters for small favors and India & Pakistan are full of them.

World Trade Center in NY was bombed by Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001 at 9AM. Musharraf calls Bush on September 11, 2001 AM.
Musharraf: Mr President, I would like to express my condolences to you. It is a real tragedy. So many people died & such beautiful buildings... I want to assure you that we in Pakistan had nothing to do with that terrorist act.
Bush: What buildings? What people??
Musharraf: Oh, I am sorry and what time is it in America now?
Bush: It's eight in the morning EST.
Musharraf: Ooops...I am early, will call back in an hour!
Musharraf is an an Islamic crook who took money & aid from China & US at the same time, while he was supposed to fight communism. Now he is in bed with Osama. He is running with the foxes while hunting with the hounds. He fooled Vajpayee in Agra while encroaching on Indian soil which erupted into a war similar to what Jinnah did to MKGandhi. US is pouring billions into Papistan & finally is demanding that Papistan President Musharraf be held more accountable for the way American aid is spent. "We've spent USD 12 billion, and it was supposed to be to fight terrorism. We really don't know how much of that money was used to fight terrorism. We know a lot of it was used to build up their (Pakistan's) own military & his own pockets. So there is a problem with accountability and the money. We should tell him our displeasure with his inability to go after Bin Laden, and part of the problem is he tells us that that part of the area he doesn't control. On the other hand, he says, I don't want you going in. Let me do it, and give me the money! He can't have it both ways. Yes he can & he always had.
