Yes relations are getting better for the following reasons
by Peter Parker on Jan 13, 2008 08:41 AM  Permalink

1. Communists have Mr Singh / Ms Sonia by their b$lls
2. Chinese are relentlessly shaft$ing india in the UN/other forums while india takes it on with a smile.
3. Indian politicians do not want to tangle with the big panda as they will then have to fight and they will loose their special corrupt previliges.
4. US has india by the b$lls and does not want anything to happen to their $1 trillion dollar bank (China)

PM's China visit
by Chittur Subbaraman on Jan 13, 2008 07:06 AM  Permalink

Yes, why will not Ma Jiali say that the PM's visit to China will be successful? What he has said in hin mind is that it will be successful for China!! Has not our first PM surrendered thousands of acres of land and our Manasarovar to the Chinese after hugging Chinese leaders who stabbed him and the Indian people in the back? And all those who go to JN University are Leftists and sympathisers of China and not of Indian mental make up.

chinese threat
by GRE Struggler on Jan 13, 2008 03:35 AM  Permalink

China's population is almost the same as ours...so why should be fearful of it ???
even they are not as technologically advanced as it is projected by our cowardly media.

incase of war with china, i m sure US would help us fight them by giving us all the required weapons. But the problem is the lack of officers in our army. i think the chinese are expoloiting this and are testing our resolve through their incursions in arunachal pradesh.

I believe it is time now we increase the size our army by making it compulsory for young to join it.

We can follow the israel's model where everyone has to serve atleast 2-3 yrs in the military. that explains the stunning victories it has achieved in it glorious past.

These incursions might just be a precusor to a full-blown war to conquear our north-east.
It might be possible that pakistan steps in to put pressure on us in the west.
We have to be well-prepared for all eventualities..these chinese and pakis are definitely up to something drastic...i can just smell it.

One China Policy!!!! What about One India Policy?
by sriram rajagopal on Jan 12, 2008 09:27 PM  Permalink

Chineese politicians, bureacrats and spokes person like this gentleman have always spoken of an Open China and Chineese policies but we have always learnt our lessions the wrong way and have to be ALOOF consistently despite China's promises n fake policies.
Take for example, this guy wants India to believe in ONE-CHINA policy thats is not side Taiwan, Tibet n other areas to go the independent way coz Chineese ppl dont want it. But when it comes to Kashmir issue, they side Pakistanis saying that have a election, ask the Kashmir ppl whr do they want to go or side. Why dont they ever propagate an One India Policy ever!!! Now they are eyeing Arunachal Pradesh and some parts of it, this again and as always speaks of Double Standards from China :)
I mean I dont understand how sweetly they present their point of view while easily avoid or ignore our points on the same basis, I cant help laughing on how they manage to keep such a straight face on such blaring double standards. China always makes friends with other countries just to ensure that they have a ready market to push thru their products and keep growin economically. I believe even now their growing interest in India is to take adv. and compete with our IT companies based on their relatively cheap offers.
But other than that, I must appreciate one point he made, China is growin at faster rate than India due to Political stability and Consistent and selfish Policies which always ensure they keep benefiting no matter what!!

Look at the automaton
by Abhishek Banerjee on Jan 12, 2008 07:46 PM  Permalink

The automaton is pouring out his official trash. some scholarship this is: make 100 copies of china's official policy, thats called :writing extensively about India. His interview is a good example why Chinese intellectual standards should be held up to international ridicule.
