1. LTTE suffers heavily from the hand of Sri Lankan army. They sytarts suuicide attacks on VIPs and other prime targets in Colobom.
2. SL asks india for military assistance immediately. Under pressure from Tamil parties india declines to assist SL.
3. SL approaches pakistan for Military assistance. Pak support them with shipments of arms and ammunition. and send some troops to SL.
4. Indian hegemony over SL is over. Pak instals some radars to monitor indian activites. India's national security under threat. SL airforce jets piloted by Pakistan pilots targetrs hindu shrines in and around jaffna cusing several hindus die.
5. Hindu organisation pressures the central government to protec Hindus of SL. RAW clandstinely sned support to LTTE and some Black cat commandos are now in SL , they are fighting against Pakistani army in SL. Pak suffers heavy loss from NSG and LTTE.
6. Pakistan suffers heavy loss. They instruct the ISI to do some terrorist acts in india and done a kargil type operation.
7. Indian government reacts this strongsly and indian army deployed along the indo pak border.
Tamil militancy has already spread to Malaysia. Tamilians in large numbers exist in Singapore,Maldives,Indonesia and the west. SEPERATISM MUST BE DISCOURAGED.. Karunanidhi messed up the issue by saying that he takes interest in anyone who speaks Tamil and composed poetry on a dead TERRORIST. Karunanidhi enraged Malaysian government. Let`s get it clear. Tamilian problem in Sri Lanka is an internal affair of Sri Lanka. We can not sacrifise any more Rajiv Gandhis for them.

Hi srinivas We could have avoided even sacrificing one Rajiv for that matter, had the govt then acted with shrewedness...they lacked it and even now i'm not sure if we have it.
Tamilians in large numbers dont cause any problem anywhere. Its only bcoz of sinhalease majority lanka denying equal rights to tamils, the problem has erupted.
I agree LTTE should be condemned for killing Rajiv. But then how do u justify lankan army killing scores of innocent tamilians in the name of wiping out LTTE?
Do you think its right on their part? Thats why if they give equal rights to tamils, then LTTE can be persuaded to give up its Eelam cause.
But then that will require practical thinking from the part of rajapakse which is not seen to be there anyway...
Karunanidhi is wrong in praising LTTE persons.
LTTE need not be supported from indian soil, wherein they have killed our former PM. But the cause of lankan tamils should be supported and we should rein in lankan govt on that point.
Hope there is solution to the problem, and it is time to bipartite summit and reaching at agreeable point, peace restoration is very necessary and people's sentiments must also be looked after.

May be if it involves muslims / christians, they will act just to keep in place the vote share...

Partially true. The latter part is not true as the custodian of the country - a Sikh and a Catholic - would be least bothered in protecting Hindus. One community used to kill Hindus and the other poaches heavily on Hindus - the policy on which comes from Vatican. That is why, this governemnt would do nothing for Tamils - be they at any part of the wolrd. Same goes with the Hindus in any part of the world. The poor fellows have often to take care of themselves - no support from inside.

Yeah.. guru.. when the sun rises in the north side. the srilankan army will defeat tamil tigers. You cannot defeat a freedom struggle with force. Not even the great imperial British can achieve it.. nor the Americans in Vietnam and the mighty Russians in Afghanistan. You cannot oppress a ethnic group. Srilankan army and sinhalase are going to pay a very high price in the 4th eelam war. Cornered tiger will do anything to save itself. watchout for the bombing raids in Colomba, Anuradhapura. EVen the temple trees wont be spared. The days are far away when you see a tamil tiger flying a supersonic fighter jet and pounding colombu for bunker busters..Tamilargalin thaagam, Tamileela thaayagam!!!

I fully agree with this statement. Can any Indian accept Netaji as terrorist just because he faught against British with arms?.It is a pity that Indian who got independence by hardway should ignore and keep quite when neighbour is getting killed by racist for asking equal rights. Can any one Indian go through this sort of treatment by its own Government ( bombing, torture etc).
A slight help in terms of moral support to the oppressed ( Sri Lankan Tamil) would change their life for ever.
No one cared about them. It is pity. Anyway nature law would be with them and they would come out powerful.
The whole world is opportunistic and join with majority.

HI thiruvengadam it does not look realistic though... May be a wishful thinking.
But still, when you have a chauvinistic sinhalese govt there are not many other options but, not to condemn LTTE fully...
after all, if lankan govt acts responsibly then you may say LTTE is wrong. When they are anti tamil, then LTTE is the only one (they have eliminated others!) who stands for tamils.
Thats the situation.
If they can achieve a equal opportunity society, then that must be a win win situation for both the parties. Else, its bloodshed and calamity for both, even if it results in a 'Eelam'...
