And if any politicians come to rescue the culprits, their organs also to be cut off. this is the punishment will be awarded in my Government

C'mon - that's a ridiculous over-reaction. What you're proposing is stone-age reminiscent. Life in the slammer for abt 20-30 years is just punishment enough.

do you believe he respects any of his femaly relatives. these kind of pseudo humans all women are same. they just want to take advantage and use women. so they will never support the staunch punishment for rape crimes.

Yeah - like in Islamic countries - rape victims are jailed and men go scot free. The victim is the reason for the crime and not the men who committed it. You support those kind of rules I think.
It is defaming to India about the crimes of this nature repeating more than before. Such culprits should be severely punished and the tough laws should be imposed on the convicted. It is indeed a shame to the so called great nation

I would like to say, India is the worst country in crime against women. I really feel ashamed as an Indian because of such acts by people. These are not one off cases, rather this just reflects the general attitude of people of India, because it has been happening in almost all parts of India.

nah , its the same even in developed countries.... you just think that the grass is greener on the other side.
When you compare the crime rate , we are well below many developed nations.

Suchin you might be happy to rape few more tourists and bring the balance between us and the developed nations :)
I've seen people outside as well. At least in UK. They don't stare at you as if they would devour ladies/girls. I know the difference, and only then I commented. Taxi drivers don't rape tourists there. It is most prevalent in India only.
DO we have to give into our sexual desires in a manner which brings shame to us .. Well I didn't mention the family name .. cause the person didn't give it a thought that he had a family whilst committing such a heinous crime ...The crime levels are really high ,, and its not that the law enforcers are not doing anything but people need to realize their moral conduct counts higher than the immoral law that they blame everything upon...

When you walk on the road in any part of India, people stare at women in such a way as if they want to devour women/girls.
I'm sorry to say, but I'm convinced that Indians are one of the worst in crime against women.

well I am dead sure, you won't get such looks if you aren't wearing provocative clothes!!! And what part of India are you talking of? You might get some stares and such if you take a walk in the ghettos, but thats the case even in developed countries like USA

Mr. Shetty, if the so called 'provocation' at public places arouses you, you are not a MAN.
The only solution to this heinous crime is to introduce CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR RAPIST.
It has been debated and argued many a times, nobody can understand and feel the pain, agony and humiliation a victim and her family goes through after each such incident.
We talk of India .. U.S.A. has one of the highest rate of Rape.
An F.B.I report in the year 1990 says that 1,02,555 cases of rape were reported. It further says that only 16% of the cases of rapes are reported.
Later another report said that an average of 1900 cases of rape are committed in U.S.A every day. The FBI report of 1990 continues and says that out of the rape cases that were reported only 10% of the rapist were arrested, that is only 1.6% of the actual rapes committed. Out of those arrested, 50% were let free before the trial. This would mean that only 0.8% of the rapists faced a trial. In other words if a person commits 125 rapes the chances that he will get a punishment for rape is only once. Many would consider this a good gamble. And the report says that of those people who faced trial 50% received sentences of less than a year%u2019s imprisonment though the American law says rape carries a seven year sentence of imprisonment. For a rapist, the judge is lenient to 1st time offenders. Imagine a person commits 125 rapes and the chances of being convicted is only 1, and 50% of the time the judge will grant leniency and give a sentence of less than a year!

Does this uneducated/senseless person mean to say Delhi, the Capital of India is having only RSS/VHP/ Bajrang Dal members, where girls are raped in cars in daylight. It is better to study and then reply at such forums, becouse this is a public place and sensible mails are to be updated.

now we have got a stupid like you here :) what an analogy between some criminal and Modi. I don't say that Modi is a saint, but at least in this area there is no analogy.
This was happening for eons. I'm glad it's hitting the front pages. Hopefully someone will do something about it. Maybe just give these guys a quick sex change and let them live with it. :-)

responsible for our safety.
These 2 two things are not the hard n fast and do not quote that i mean this will stop this shameful incidents....but yes we could minimise these incidents by atleast being self responsible for our safety by not trashing our culture and be self disciplined. stop blaming INDIA.

Radha based on your previous and this message you have been emphasizing India and India. This issue is same in every country irrespective of whether its developed nation or underdeveloped such holigans you will find every where. Stop blaming the country for it. Its true that recently there have been more cases and cases are growing. There are 2 things which are responsible for these cases: 1. Hanging around late nights in bars, pubs, partying out...trashing away our tradional dress and attraction towards western culture...inspite of parents constantly telling their kids not to be out so late and other stuff. But then kids will argue which century are you in? Our safety is in our hand. Its not about girls should not be having equal rights or anything but the fact is rapes and molestation happens with girls and not guys. So safety lies in hands of girls, dont be out of home late nights whether you are alone, with your BF or husband, dont roam around late. Best example JW Mariott girl was with her husband but still case happened. 2. I am not a dance bar fan and have never been there but I am with a strong belief that dance bar should be made official instead of closing/banning them. These holigans are growing day by day because dance bars are no more accessible and so they are finding victims, prey outside to quench their thirst/frustration. I dont say that if dance bars are there there won't be such cases but will be less as compared to growing cases. We need to be responsib

nitn your patriotism should not be blind. I hope you are educated enough to understand that media is here not only to sell India but also bring out the truth. Maybe because of people like you only the culprits are getting a safer life. Open up your eyes before you get lost in your own patriotism
