We need to forget any romantic common ness crap when dealing with the Chinese.
China will casually eat us alive after eating our lunch if we are weak. We need to develop other alliances and keep our nuclear powder dry to get China to treat us like an equal.

Send Prakash Karat, Sitaram Yechury & the rest of Traitorous Commies on a One Way ticket to China
by A P on Jan 10, 2008 04:06 PM  Permalink

The Indian commies are Chinese agents who are the Chinese fifth column working to sabotage India's rise at the behest of their cunning, venomous masters in Beijing. The Indian people should identify these Chinese agents expeditiously. The leaders of these Chinese agents should be summarily executed. The rest should be deported to China. The Chinese are the sponsors, financiers & arms suppliers of the jehadi Pakis & Al Qaida. India should follow a hardline policy with China. We should challenge the Chinese occupation of Tibet & arm the Tibetan people who wish to fight the Chinese criminal aggressors. Chak De India. Kick out Chinese agents.

Manmohan in China
by Rajesh Vyas on Jan 10, 2008 11:38 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sir:

The PM should be extremely careful of this treacherous neighbour who preaches and practices very differently.

The Chinese are confirmed back- stabbers and one cannot afford to let his/her guard down even momentarily.

The PM should not get carried away by the so called improving relations with China.

One must read very carefully between the lines while dealing with the Chinese. DO NOT FORGET THE OCTOBER 1962 treachery perpetrated on the NAIVE and GULLIBLE MR. NEHRU.

China must unequivocally state that they have no designs on Arunachal Pradesh--The erstwhile North East Frontior Agency(NEFA).

While Nehru was forwarding towards China, only those behind him could back-stab him!

Cautious with the Dragon
by george chandy on Jan 10, 2008 10:21 AM  Permalink

We Need to be largely causious of china and never let down our guard against it. Taking the dragon lightly could prove a great mistake. A democratic US with similar interests like India would be a better partner than the autocratic china.

Sense and Sensibility
by AMIT on Jan 09, 2008 05:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I read the article word-by-word.
Did not make sense.
I reached the last line.
"S K is an associate professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University"
Then it made perfect sense to me
