This turnaround is predictable, if u know the history of indian communists, particularly the history of criminal party of mafia (CPM). these are the comrades who actually supported china during the indo-china war of 1962. they are nothing but traitors and criminals. double-tounged vermin who know how to feather their own nests. no wonder now they claim capitalism is the only way. actually the only way for india to progress is to root out and destroy every single last communist in the country
Well said Buddhadev, At least you are practical and have the guts to accept and speak the truth. Communism or any ideology is useless in an empty stomach. I also agree to a large extent with Mr. Thomas's opinion that many communist leaders lead a lavish life.

join together to fight against communalism. Various kinds of communalism increase in our country, mostly in the name of cast and religion. It will become a form of mature terrorism like our neighbour country, within a few years.
People have to be employed and need to work. Now who is going to provide jobs ? The govt.cannot create that many jobs and it is the private sector who also have to pitch in. Need of the hour is to create an environment where the private sector will invest and in turn have jobs for the people - nothing wrong with that. If capitalism is a bad word for the cpm then what is the good word and the solution ?

See, why BJP and Congress criticise the Left; but it could not implement land reforms, free education, infrastructure, high lifestyle etc. in their states. They sell out the land to Capitalists in wholesale in the name of SEZs. They never remembered the poor people. They are befooling again and again with illusion, divide and rule, kill and frighten. When China teach their people to work hard for them and others who does not have job, Indian opposition produce viruses of terrorism.
Just look at Singur. people are woroking in the factory after training. They have their own union to keep facilities. Factory started; its advantage for employer. A good city is built up. Left front government keep the balance without any problem.
I had long talk with Partha,my DYFI friend in Kolkata and if he is to be believed, the CPM cardres butchered 1000s of innocent people in Nandigram,the figures never came out in open as media were not allowed-Such is the hold of CPM in Nandigram that the CRPF is just playing puppet to the administration.Since a lot of Muslims were killed in Nandigram, the CPM appeased the Muslims by driving Taslima out after 3 yrs.That was a give take policy.

Communists leaders,over the ages speak of poor, but their leaders are capitalists-Look at Jyoti Basu's(the greatest communist ever in India)son-He is an industrialist-Now a days Prakash karat and Sitaram Y stay at Five star hotels, eat Kaju badam with tea(not biscuits), smoke Rothman's cigarretes, drive Honda.I have a DYFI friend in Kolkata who says that the left cadres are getting depressed and demotivated by seeing their leader's hypocrisy.
