Whats the issue of telengana in AP. Is telenganait doesnt speak telugu? If so then as per SRC states were divided based on language only. It is also known only andra guys started this divisive politis.asking andhra from madras state. Now why these cry again on some ohter region within their state. This disintegration ideology is not good for country on the whole. People should realise this
Whats the use of getting separate state as long as we dont change their leaders!!!
Every state creation leads to.. resource roblems water disputes more regional parties with no real development agenda wastage of central funds costly elections affair money to run government more leaders..more corruption eventually state bankruptancy
Every now and then cheap polititians like KCR,Pawar,Mayawati comes up with bifurcation of states to cover up their failures and state that being united is the root cause of apathy.Central govt. really need to focus and set an agenda for every state to improve the situation in backward districts or regions .automatically the sentiment towards seperation would die down if people start seeing difference.
UPA Government is considering implementing the recommendation of Second State Reorganization Commission.
The Government seriously thinking on creating new states like Purvanchal, Awadh, Vidharbha, Ielengana, Goorkhaland, etc.
I am suggesting the creation of following states:
1. Delhi / Indraprastham (excluding New Delhi Municipal Corporation from present National Capital Territory. New Delhi can be a seperate NCT)
2. Pondicherry (Pondicherry district in Pondicherry UT plus some villages in Villupuram and Cuddallore districts of Tamil Nadu. Karaikal, Mahe, and Yanam can be declared as seperate UTs)
3. Andaman & Nicobar Islands
4. Vidharbha (from Maharashtra with Nagpur as capital)
5. Telengana (from Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad as capital. Vishakapatanam can be the new capital of Andhra state)
6. Central Travancore (from Kerala with Alapuzha or Kottayam as capital)
7. Kashmir (from Jammu & Kashmir with Srinagar as capital)
8. Dogra Pradesh / Jammu (from Jammu & Kashmir with Jammu as capital)
9. Ladakh (from Jammu & Kashmir with Leh as capital)
10. Bodoland (from Assam with Kokrajhar as capital)
11. Goorkhaland (from West Bengal with Dargeeling as capital)
12. Kamtapur (from northern parts of West Bengal with Siliguri as capital)
13. Bundelkhand (from parts of southern UP and northern MP with Jhansi as capital)
14. Purvanchal (from Eastern UP with Varanasi as capital)
15. Awadh (from Central UP with Lucknow as capital)

Why only 16....
Split Tamilnadu into 3 North Tamilnadu for Stalin. South Tamilnadu for Azhagiri. West Tamilnadu for Kanimozhi.
Split Karnataka into 2, one for Kumarasamy and another for Revanna.
Split West Bengal into 2. South-West Bengal and North-West Bengal. South-West Bengal borders Bangladesh and it is a muslim majority state. Later it can become separate country.
Split Madya pradesh as 4 states. South-Madya pradesh, North Madya pradesh, West Madya pradesh and East Madya pradesh.

Do you know the situation of Vidarbha farmers? Both Congress & Sena had promised skies to the poor farmers of Vidarbha but haven't given a mole.
Vidarbha is the suicide capital of our country, with 40, 000 farmers died in Vidarbha alone in last decade. What has your booming Maharastra done to avoid this colossal tragedy? For you, its Bombay & Pune, is maharastra.
It is better Vidarbha is made a seperate state where its own people can manage their affairs and give importance to farming while your "hi-tech" maha can give importance to IT & Bolly.

My friend, Prem Kumar,
you talking two TOTALLY unrelated topics here. There is NO correlation between Vidarbha being part of Maharashtra and farmers suicides. Farmers are committing suicide because of of so many other socio economic reasons (one being globalized economy especially cotton market).
There is no doubt that we need to help suffering farmers. But, separate Vidarbha is CERTAINLY not the answer. Separate Vidarbha will only help politicians and babus and no one else. Don't you see what is happening in Geo?
By the way, as far Vidarbha people managing their own affairs, Vasantrao Naik from Vidarbha is to date the longest serving CM of Maharashtra (11 years) and Sudhakarrao Naik was also Maharashtra CM. Why didn't they do anything for their region when they were CM's? And since they didn't do anything then what makes you think that 'Vidarbha' CM will do something for Vidarbha.
If you are from Vidarbha, then ask your leadership as to what they are doing to improve situation of farmers in that region. They need not be in power to help distressed people. Take a cue from Shivsena as to how to help common people without being in power!

BOMBAY City with 25 Million people will be India's Answer to HongKong and London (not now, but in another 20-30 years)
Maharashtra is a big state and it can easily have Bombay as Union territory. Tamils have TamilNadu (state) and Pondicherry (Union Territory), likewise Marathi people can have both. Why Not?

Why can't MUMBAI City with whatever population being Maharashtra's capital won't be India's answer to Hong Kong and London? By the way, why can't you guys be original for a change? Why do we need to be an "answer" to someone? Why can't we become someone ourselves?
MUMBAI belong to Maharashtra and is capital of it. Period.
