MOI Should restructure the embassies and their work process in gulf. The heads of these embassies are not at all in touch with community in general, looking at personal gains and leaves the place without adding a value.
The staff at these embassies are unskilled, unprofessional and incompetent. They treat all NRIs as unskilled workers and the overall level of services are below the par.
Restructure of the serving attitude at these embassies in gulf is the need of the hour.
I do not understand why this Gandhi govt. is conducting such thing ?? they should first show their love towards Indians who are staying there and then try to apply butter to NRI's. Send priyanka to us and we will take care. Congress wale .....

Governament has to think about sustaining the economy. Second largest export business earns India around 20 Billion $. Remittances by Indians abroad was 24 Billion $ as the chat to the left says. Indians abroad are contributing to Indias development and they are CITIZENS of INDIA. Apart from that they also create business oppurtunities for Indian firms. By appriciating NRIs governament and WE are helping each other.

THE OPPOSITE ALSO HAPPENS. fOR EXAMPLE MY FRIEND GOT MARRIED IN FEB 2002 TO A US CITIZEN. SHE WAS WORKING IN KOLKATA IN A GOOD COMPANY AND ON HER HUSBANDS ASSURANCE THAT SHE IS GETTING THE SPOUSE SOON SHE LEFT HER JOB IN 2004. THE MAN WHOM SHE GOT MARRIED HAS DAUGHTER FROM HIS FIRST MARRIAGE AND GRADUALLY HE STARTED GIVING EXCUSE THAT HE CAN NOT DO ANY OFFICE JOB AS HE HAS TO LOOK AFTER HIS DAUGHTER. IN THE MEANTIME MY FRIEND TRIED HER BEST TO CONTACT HIM ON REGULAR BASIS BUT THIS MAN KEPT MUM. HE IS ALSO VERY PROUD THAT HE IS US CITIZEN AND AS THE MARRIAGE TOOK PLACE IN INDIA NOONE CAN LEGALLY TOUCH HIM .NOW HE IS DOING BUSINESS IN EBAY SELLING CAMERA AND DOESN'T REPORT HIS INCOME TO US TAX ( PROBALY SO I AM NOT SURE ) .HE ALSO HAD FAILED TO SEND THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT NECESSARY FOR APPLYING THE K3 SPOUSE VISA. HE IS NEITHER RESPONDING TO MY FRIEND NOR PERFORMING ANY DUTY OF A HUSBAND. SHE IS ALONE IN KOLKATA LOST HER PARENTS, LEFT HER PERMANENT JOB. THIS MAN IS RESIDING IN SAN LEANDRO , SANFRANCISCO.CALIFORNIA

Thank GOD atleast they are not in countable numbers in China. Atleast the one country where Indians didn't go. the number suggests that all our forfathers were useless who never tried to built the India (like USA, UK and other countries which even with the worst climate of the world is the most preferable place to live)and went where ever they felt it is easy to survive with Kamchori, great nation with great people. Mera bharat mahan..
I agree with you and I feel bad that the same dispora which is remitting billions of dollars from these countries could have done wonders, if the climate and oppns were good here.
