DEMOCRACY ZINDABAD?????? REALLY WONDERFUL .I FEEL AGHAST WHETHER ONE SHOULD FEEL PROUD OF OUR DEMOCRACY OR FEEL SHY OF IT THE WAY IT IS BEING RUN.WE ALSO SHOULD THINK ABT. OUR POLITICAL PARTIES WHICH ARE IN RACE TO GIVE TICKETS TO PEOPLE HAVING LINKS WITH CRIME AND CRIMINALS.THEIR ONLY COCERN IS WINNABILITY.THEY CARE A PIN FOR MORAL VALUES AND DECENT PUBLIC LIFE.. THE RESULT NOW WE ARE HAVING A CENTRAL MINISTER HOLDING HOME PORTFOLIO{STATE RANK}WHO WAS ONCE RELATED TO A HISTORY SHEETER{WIFE} NOW ONLY GOD ALONE CAN SAVE THIS COUNTRY FROM THESE POLITICIANS.
How did wife of anti-social criminal become home minister? This is like putting a robber or a terrorist in charge of police. Who approved this? UPA is filled with criminal ministers. Please guys show this UPA idiots their door next year.
This is the first time we have heard about what MP's and ministers get for their constituencies.. but for what??? They do nothing for their constituencies... atleast unheard of any developments.... only the city corporations does things like road repair etc... this is rediculous money and all that goes in their pockets... no wonder why these crooks have crores and crores worth of properties... god save india.

I did notice it. I wonder how anybody can't?!
It goes to show that even mannequins can win elections in India, when contested with a caste label. DMK was a party that stood for social justice. but with cheap antics like this, it shows politics, in any case, is a stinking ditch. If they were so desperate to apeace the Nadar community, they could have chosen one from so many noble men amongst them, who have served the society, and not just their community.
When this lady's husband was alive and going on a killing spree, this women was a spectator. Knowing a crime and not reporting makes one as guilty as a criminal. That way people have elected a criminal as their MP. Well, that is not news to us anyway. That is people's power for you. Democracy, as provided by our constitution. Finally it leads to one nadar interviewing another nadar on national media.
While caste has been banned even in our constitution, am wondering what pride and pleasure do people derive in adding their caste names along with theirs? Any person worth his salt will not do that. I see only cheap personalities still using their caste names.

I think some big shots (probably karunanidhi) would be keeping her for his needs!!
A talented and EDUCATED minister (Dayanidhi Maran) was sacked for just egoistic reasons! How much development he made in TN when he was a minister..
Can someone please finish off Mr. Karunanidhi..? he has dream to be cremated in the Marina Beach, but he shld be cremated in Koovam!

no minister has done good for this country with out any benefit...... if a minister was sacked it was because of rivalry between them and loss of their share........
I can give you a example...... a company on the East coast (MNC) avoids tax of nearly 2000 crores and gets away by just paying 500 crores to the people in power.....
every Politician in this country has taken money willingly or unwillingly.......
Nothing can be done about it until they fear people or respect them .......

This is one good example.. made us to believe india will developed country by 2020. Oh how much she had done for country by visiting all this places has a minister.. its simply great.. And her husband he his follower of agimsai i guess..
Her husband was a criminal rowdy element. Now he is portrayed as Robinhood after death. The police did the right thing. Now politicians like Karunanidhi have made this as caste issue and invited his wife to politics.

What's the point in abusing Rediff? They are only bringing this kind ridiculous situation - putting a totally useless person in a highly responsible position without considering national interest - to public's notice.
This situation is surreal - putting a "donkey" on the "throne" and pulling strings from behind. God only has been saving Indian democracy.
