Socialism, Marxism and Communism all are hypothetical matters. They will never happen in the World. The poor illiterate flag bearers of the Party don't have the guts to think beyond party kine. They have to agree all what the party leaders say. The leaders make money by using their power.
India, with most of its people below the poverty line, needed a strong welfare system, where the state intervened to help the poor to avail the opportunities. It was clear that Soviet Union set very good examples for doing that while most Western Nations failed. During 1930-35, Soviet Union had a robust economy. Many of its achievements impressed foreign observers of all ideologies. These Western nations saw the breakdown of their own economic system. Learning from Soviet Union became important and quite necessary. Countries like Belgium and Norway adopted plans similar to that of Soviet Unions Five Year Plans. Hitler, a strong anti-communist, introduced his own Four Year Plan along the lines of Soviet Union to virtually eliminate unemployment.
These days, it has become a fashion to criticize and ridicule socialistic economy model. Most Indians leaders welcomed and hailed Soviet style economy and touted it as the only solution to India%u2019s problems. Capitalism, which imposed a completely unreliable and topsy-turvy economy onto its people, was considered the least agreeable solution. If you were an adult during 1947, there was a good chance that you too would have been agreeing to the soviet style socialistic economy

CPI-(M) is most fraud party in India. These people does not have any ideology. They looted both rich class and poor class. In West Bengal if you open any industry you have to pay to CPM donation (Starting from Rs 1 lacs). If you are employed in State Govt you have to pay to the Co-Ordination committee. If you are a labour you have to pay regular subscription to CITU and 10% of bonous. If you are contractor then god save u... In other state like UP rigging made only in the time of election but in WB CPM caders made it on regular basis.
Communists of India have always behaved in the most opportunistic manner in the post independence era for their narrow political gains. so called socialism without capital infusion cud kill basic tenet of entrepreneurship and therefore cud never be a people's programme if we r keen to ensure development of the haves and havenots in the society. Goals of Socialism cud neven be different than so clled capitalism only methods and approach cud be. Communists have always tacitly nurtured poverty and sense of economic servility as their hidden strategy for their longterm goals. Mr. Communist, Can you tell us all what your great commies has done for the poor. Poor are getting more poor and also loosing their land in places like singur and nandigram. Bangladeshi muslims are getting inside west bengal and are getting voter ids, ration cards, land for farming and making house and all facilities which real citizens are deprived of. You guys always talk about communal ism, why did your commies didnt react over comments of MF Hussain and thrown away Taslima from the state. Why their are sops for muslims only, even parsi's , jains etc are in minority but they are not getting any such benefits. See inside you are try to get answers and if you are a son of a real human, just type those answers as it is here on board

CPM / EMS / Jyoti Basu / Buddhadeb everybody says the same thing. They do not follow socialism now. They follow Indian Federalism and Democracy. They work hard to give maximum help for poor people which could not do Congress / BJP governments.

you people only understand( or acting like you understands) what they are saying. for us normal people it is in books only we cant feel any deference.say some thing people can understand
After a long time the C P I(M)has realised that the Capitalism is the sourse of developement of Socialism.so at present, the leaders of that party are doing their jobs towards the reputed Capitalists by depriving the poor people who are still supporting them.They think better socialism still now which was inspired them by this party for a long time.I think it is kind of deviation of this party and it should be rectified soon.
