To claim that the violence is not due to conversion is both true and false - hence it is a tight rope walk by BJD-BJP govt in Orissa. True because local factors such as a Christian group claiming ST status, false because conversion by Christians and resistance by Hindus is the prime factor for Swami Lakshmanananda's murder and which fuelled public anger. In spite of CM's rejoinder to Shivraj Patil's dismissal threat, it looks like Naveen is perturbed. With very little life left in the 14th Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha having UPA majority, a dismissal now can be sustained for six months, however, illogical such dismissal might be. It would give UPA some hold on the local administration during Lok Sabha elections which they feel can be used to win more MP seats. But I doubt such a thing would happen. Most of Orissa people are against the Christian missionary activities and any amount of whitewashing by state govt. or centre will not cut ice with the fact that the main reason for trouble in Kandhamal is the conversion activities by some Christian groups.

if God can assume one form (Jesus) he can assume many forms. In Hinduism God is master and Self of all beings. Only God exists. He is present in everything and everything is present within him and so he is everything. Paramatma the soul of Vishnu,Shiva is omnipresent Brahman. Christian faith is just faith a belief without logic or reason. Also Christians do not know where animal souls go after death. Where infants souls go??? If one exist before death his self exists after death is Hindu belief. But you see in Xtian faith, soul is born when one is born but after death it will last for ever in heaven or hell. Ridiculous religion.

Udaipur range Inspector-General of Police Rajiv Dasod said the British woman 'is a freelance journalist working for a PR agency and this is her eighth visit to Udaipur. A police team in Pushkar, meanwhile, arrested Satynarayan, brother-in-law of the priest of Pap-Mochani temple, for allegedly molesting a 28-year-old American woman tourist.
Pushkar police station Circle Officer Sangram Singh said the woman from Oregan who is on pilgrimage in the lake town, alleged that the 'priest' molested her while she was offering prayers at the temple on Tuesday, he said.
He said Satynarayan had confessed to the crime and will be put on an identification parade before a magistrate and the victim on Thursday
The people who got killed are Christians, that is the reason for all these Hollaballos. The media is still talking about Gujarat riot of 2002. However, they have never mentioned about the Bangladesh riot against the Hindus in 2001 or the Kashmir riot against the Hindus in 1989 onwards. At least 50000 people mainly Hindus got killed in Kashmir, 600,000 Hindus became refugees. At least 2000 Hindus got killed in Bangladesh, 200,000 Hindus became refugees. But Hindu life is cheap. Thus the media does not care.
Christians say that Jesus is the 'ONLY' way to reach the almight and heaven etc etc, where as they say idol worship is crap so and and so forth, doesn't sounds very secular does it
To practise one's religion and to preach it is fundamental right, missionaries are doing good job of helping poor, but converting them by giving them monetary benefits, or brainwashing poor tribals or helping them with the final aim of converting them is not only unethical it's also criminal, I beleive even christian brothers will agree
It is right that we discuss the Orissa incidents in detail.. But is it not partial that if you donot discuss the killing of three CPI(M) leaders by the Maoists with the help of BJP and Trinamul in three different incidents at Purulia, Burdwan and Nadia districts...??? Very few papers like Deccan Chronicle have covered those barbaric acts. This is what had happened in Nandigram also. In January itself the attack started against the CPI(M) people. Thousands were forced to go away from there. In March, they tried to come back with the help of the Police, the firing was there. Unfortunately, 8 were killed by the police firing. Another 6 were killed in other way. And the thousands of CPI(M) supporters had to remain in relief camps for about 10 months. Finally when they returned the media, Advani, Mamata and Medha Patkar rushed to Nandigram only to come back empty handed. Now, the peace had returned. The Maoists have been driven out. The patience of the government had atlast won. The partial attitude of the media will not help the common people.

We have a media which is anti-Indian and anti-Hindu. We have university professors who are anti-Hindu and anti-Indian. We have political parties( Congress, CPIM, BSP, SP etc) who are anti-Hindu. We have a Prime Minister who is anti-Indian prepared to give up our nuclear weapons. We have a President, who is corrupt. We have a Vice President who is Islamist.
