Marathi Rules!

Don't break the plate that you all are eating from!

Who provided the safe grounds for big companies in Maharastra!

Why they did not go to other state?

No one is telling them go but if you are doing business here you must think of the land and the locals first...

"yeh log Mumbai ke liye kuch nahi karte aur sara paisa apani jeb mein dalate hai" so much money they have made in their life, that is given to them by the safe grounds of the state only, Don't forget!

World knows that marathi people are leaders in every field and they have ruled this country in past and in future also they will do it%u2026 but problem is we can not do cheap politics like others!

Dear Amit,
I appreciate your efforts, But barring lata Sachin and two others you cannot name others as real world leader. I have full regards for Maharastrians but just see the tone of their mail. its so much derogatory that you can hold your self. Are people from Bihar not Hindu or Indian. If some part of body get weakened we try to strengthen that not eradicate that. These guys, the socalled champion of Hinduism are advising to hand over UP and Bihar to China. We have already seen their character in President election. They did not support the BJP candidate because he belonged to my state. They forgot that the Shalini was also married to a Rajasthani.

Well you had asked for world leaders and these are leaders at world level in their respective fields, anyways i dont know a whole lot of marati, but my point is with Migration one community will gain the other will suffer, if we all make a point to adapt to our new surrounding rather than destroying it, it will help, when parsis landed in gujarat they obliged by accepting customs and traditions of the state where they belong, as you can see they are well assimilated now. But if you displace local people without giving them opportunity perhaps thats wrong, besides maharashtra is a state that is stickler when it comes to discipline and safety.

- Thats true. Everybody who come into mumbai, must respect the mumbai culture and be a part of it. giving respect to females is a essential in mumbai.
- Mumbai was indeed a safe grounds for many companies because of its geographical location.
- Credit goes to Britishers for selecting bombay and developing the infrastructure. In mumbai you can live and earn your livelihood more safely without getting into the dirtiness of local politics.
- LOCALs?- Anglo indians and KOLIS / where are they? The one who been in mumbai since 20 to 50 years are the locals now. irrespective of their basic motherland.
- Everybody in mumbai earn for themself. Durign the 2002 , the KOLIS in navi mumbai were selling their lands to companies and majority of the money they get from this deal is been spend on dance bars in Rabale, Turbhe etc..
- marathi people are indeed leaders, well cultured. who can forget the Great Chattrapati shivaji? But there are many marathis who are curse to mumbai. So you cant defame any specific community.

Stop this nonsense - all are Indians...When there is a requirement for talant and a potential for a place to nurture it, then it doesn't matter where the talent is from so long as it is Indian. The only thing to be checked is exploitation of these wonderful differences by politicians.

In this particular incident, dirty psychology came into play....such people are present all over the country and law and order cannot always be present until the locals themselves take it into their hands (which is also condemned - what to do?)...IMO, the women should not have ventured out on a night like that...after all whether the cloth falls on the barbed wire or whether the wire falls on the cloth, it is the clth that has to bear the brunt so the wise thing is for the cloth to stay away from the barbed wire...

Equality of sexes does not mean that a woman changes into a man...why do women want to be like men in the name of equality? Something drastically wrong with the women here...

Being a well-educated woman myself, this is my honest view...

the problem of maharashtrians are not being solved by mr UDHAV THACKERAY OR MR. PAWAR. THE ONION GROWERS OF NASIK AND THE ADJOINING AREA ARE FACING HARDSHIPS AND HAVE WRITTEN TO PRESIDENT TO ALLOW THEM TO DIE DUE TO THE LOSSES OF ONION'S LESS PRICE. THAT IS RS. 2 PER KG. IF UDHAVE HAS GUTS TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS OR MR PAWAR HAS ANY WAY TO SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS. THESE PEOPLE ONLY TRY TO GAIN POLITICAL MILEAGE THATSALL. THEY DO NOT WANT TO DO ANYTHING. PAWAR IS ONLY AFTER CRICKET WHERE AS HE IS AGRICULTURE MINISTER. THE FARMERS HAVE TO SELL ONION BY RS. 2/KG. AND THAT ALSO THEY GET MONEY AFTER TWO MONTHS. READ TODAY' NEWSPAPER 'DNA' . I REQUEST MR PAWAR AND THACKERAY TO DO SOMETHING FOR THEM AND DONT ONLY GIVE LIPSERVICE AND TRY POLITICS IN EACH AND EVERY MATTER WITH SOLE INTENTION OF GAINING POLITICAL MILEAGE. THEN ONLY YOU AREW PURE MAHARASHTRIAN OTHERWISE YOU ARE ONLY GOOD FOR NOTHING.

If progress will be there itself then who will wish to stay in mumbai ? no one ...

So pl note ...all state ppl are running to mumbai for money as Congress govt did not do any progress of any state as they were not suitable to do Rule ...

Congress is having foreign lady as chief of party ...congress could not get any single male from 100 crore population ...

shameful act ...selfish act ...

Hey man dont blame biharis only for not able to defended.. Moghal rules almost all part of india where the rest of the peoples were??
The major problem with the bihar is lack of resources. we have to go to other state because we are not getting enough oppurtunities there.. After bifurcation of jharkhad with bihar now our state left with sand and water. You know more than 60 % of our are id flood prone and every year we face the fllod..
Nitish offourse better than the previous govt but need good support from the central govt. to bring the prosparity in the state..

back to buddhism may be an answer to these Thakare like people
by Manu on Jan 06, 2008 11:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The so called Bimaru area of north was on top when followed Buddism. Now being derogaratory called Bhaiyas by supporter of Hinduism like Shivshena. Just because of some economic prosperity they forgot that Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir, Tulsi, Kabir, are were Bhaiyas. Ramayana and Gita were written by Bhaiyas. Biggest Hindu empire was created by Chandragupta Maurya ,a Bhaiya. And the list goes on. However, revival is on the way now. Bihar under Nitish is changing fast. Japan is pumping money in these area. Biggest investment in steel is coming in east and in areas related to Buddism. manufacturing is gaining momentum over service and because of cheap availablity of labour, these area are bound to get maximum investments. West and east freight corridors supported by Japan will radically change the economic scenario of these areas.
Seeing the hatered of Maharastrian and other socalled hindu minded people, I feel time is ripe now to revive buddhism in our land. The Nalanda is being built again and Meghana Desai rightly termed it as renaissance of Bihar. We can think of a union with Nepal, Bihar, Up., Sikkim, HP, Rajasthan with eastern states and China and I guess chinese will be happy to do so. They got Tibbet a poor country and now changed it a lot.
So if the socalled fighter of Hinduism donot change their attitude revive Buddism and forget Hinduism. We will get the support of Dalits also from every where and they are ready to convert also with 50 carores north Indians.

Shiv Sena must get their act together and start, bhayya bhagao aandolan... not just bhayyas but also the non maharastrians...

Government of Maharastra must give some money for the settlements to all these states like Bihar, UP, West Bengal, Tamilnadu to keep their population within that state it will help big time the state of Maharastra and Gujjus also must have some limitations in Maharastra...

Let them be happy in their state and locals must get preference as there are not many maharastrans go out of their state to pile on others!...

And Mumbai must have entry permit system put in place now, it is high time!...

MILIND - are you gone sick?

it is because of the contribution of PARSI's, Sindhis, Gujaratis, South Indians etc Mumbai is acheived the progress to become Financial capital. The original locals of Mumbai is Anglo Indians (Extinct now you will find them in some corners of Versova or Virar) and the KOLI's..

Bombay if you speak historically have more links with Gujarat than Maharashtra state. So dont get into a fools land by saying such nonsense.

Mumbai belong to each and every Indian, and i am proud that the maharashtrian culture have more effect on mumbai in terms of respecting females. But it never means that all maharashtrians respect females and only north indians mis behave with females.

The majority of the new year incident were belonging to Maharashtrian families.

The only concern is the more pouring of people into mumbai, with them the Illegal Bangladeshis making new colonies.

Milind , point is not where you come from, believe in fittest to survive theory , according to your theory all indians who are abroad should be kicked out from there , i accept if you are working outside you should must understand, respect there people or culture but that doesn't mean you will be ill-treated. No. Problem is not between marathi's and bhaiyaas, main issue is finacial gap , there are two levels, first level belong to gujratis, sindhis etc.. who are rich , second level is marathi, north indians etc who are either working class, middle class or below middle class.
Marathi's can't express their anger on that upperclass they know , so its very easy for them to target north indians or bengalis, south indians etc.

And your shivsena is good for nothing, UR Boss is living in posh bunglow and talking about , preaching for justice for marathi's who are living in slums etc...

My advice is instead of spreading or believing in hatred , communalism you concentrate on your own life , your work, how to improve etc...

If people follow you , soon our country will become another pakistan where everyone will keep fighting within themselves.
