So you think what is to be blamed is rich-poor, urban-rural cultural divide. But the perpetrators of crime are dressed stylishly and the girls wore western costumes.

thanks god..none of this foolish with stupid regional sentiments were there during freedom struggle against British Raj, else they(Britain) would have celebrated 260 years last August. What these guys talking below...was the situation 260 years back...when British people started ruling us. And yes, if any paki is reading this..as generally they do, you are also part of same.
I see ppl from different states fighting among each other. There is so much hate!
This is one country, and that means, a citizen owns the whole country. If UP/Bihar is not developed, then work for its development. And stop day-dreaming that mumbai would prosper if UP/Bihar ppl go away, it would sink like anythink.
Of course you 'can' think otherwise and let the politicians fool you!
About me - and indian, born in UP, lived in Bengal, MP, Maha, Karnataka, Delhi.
And fellow indians, please don't mind if some misled fellow brother starts giving me gaali. He is just immature to understand the importance of 'India'.

Elections are near in Maharashtra and Shiv sena wants to rake up some issue to come in power and trying to divide indians in the name of religion/caste or regionalism. This is the politics of polarization. But we all have seen the first and the last time when they came to power. The corruption of shiv sena is world famous and evry person living in Bombay has seen the corrupted shiv sena is and they will never return To power whatever game they play My dear friends you all are falling into the trap which shiv sena has laid and they want to create a issue out of non issue.

Tell us which party is clean and we will gladly vote for them. We let our politicians do as they like and then vote them back into power. Politics has become like cricket, these guys are ruling on past merit. We need to boot them out when required and remind them that theirs is a job to be done and if they are not up to the mark they will be sacked.
For this everyone of us educated people has to vote and not use election days for vacation. It is the slum dwellers, who for love or money make the long walk to the election booth and continue to live in slums while the politicians continue to rule over us.
We need over 90% turnouts to ensure we get what we deserve.

Meh,,,do you know anybody in your family who is not corrupt? Look at you, you are making a corrupt comment which is full of vile and inconseqntial dietribe,,,you mean to say what happened at Juhu was menifestation and engineered? If Shiv Sena saying that Marathi ethos are being trampeled in a Marathi city by outsiders then what is wrong with it? And if outsiders are ruining this beloved city of mine what is wrong me trying to protect it for my people.I know you have garbage outsider mentality, but keep that to yourself, exposing that mentality will be harmful to your health. Don't wait for a Marathi to react. Trust me Shiv Sena will be ruling this state and this city what may come. So be ready to hide somewhere. By the way I come on this site to find out Shiv Sena baitors. And one more thing we can find out about each and every one of you with our Intelligence connections. So beware, you might get a visit.

Bengalis create ruckus when a college is transferred to southern state. Karnataka cant share its waters with TN Rajasthan cant have waters coz of Punjab and haryana. maharashtra's electricity is stolen by other states..
simple soolution: Destroy india concept.
Let each state be a different country.
So Mumbai doesnt have to worry abt illegal bangla's nor does it have to pay price for what happens in UP or gujarat.

Are you serious there was one more person who talked about creating 28 countries. Anyway INDIA is great and all the states will surely develop in time to come, situation is already improving in northern states, and will develop in north east too. By the way in a family brother and sisters fight and argue but they do not let things get out of hand, similarly we all should fight, but it is by no means a fight to finish or something like that. In the post Uddhav said nothing specifically about bhaiyyas or any particular community, it was general comment which meant that people from small cities come to Mumbai and the freedom and the anonymity this city gives them lets them indulge in such acts without any compunction. I am sure the people who did this would not behave like this under normal circumstances. Of course what they did was wrong and will be punished for it. Any way Chuk de India, Chuk de North India, Chuck de South India, Chuck de East India, Chuck de West India, Chuck de Central India. Let us make India Great, and let us create an India such that people from US, UK, Japan< Australia and so will all want to become Indian citizens, then we can have a friendly fight with them also.

ur probably refering to me (28 countries thing), dude nobody wants India to break and take my word for it, it won't happen, we are just giving an example that with the diversity we have and the way we behave it's not healthy, yes brothers do fight but living with so less tolerence & respect for fellow Indians is not good

dear mumbaikar, yes i agree that we fight each other. but i think there is a dharmic bond which keeps us in one single thread all the time. believe me, because of this connection we all have the indian-ness among ourselves. Small small fights are inevitable but as a country we together constitute a great nation. We need to be proud of our diversity. No other country can claim such diversity and hold all these people in a democratic system. As a Malayalee i have several friends from tamilnadu, punjab, assam, Gujarat, maharashtra uttarpradesh etc... it is a unique feeeling. When i see my other colleagues of europen countries and US i can definitely say that none of them posses such relationships between their country men or at least people from his own state. Yes india is beautiful and a great nation. JUST REMEMBER - in just 20 years india will rule the world in all spheres.. economically, culturally, scientifically etc.. etc... JaiHind.

Your argument is a fallacy based on what has been a methodical manipulation to insinuate the receptive mind with thoughts such as the ones you have mentioned above. a misconception created by the politicians rooted in the concept that TN exploits KA. The bengalis classic example of the spoilt elite. I am not saying they are bad i am just saying the elite should have an open mind towards culture, instead should not cocoon themselves into such cages. Again the reason being difficulties in adapting to culture. Where they not able to adapt to the british culture easily. Hm... something you might want to think again when you look at what is the flavor of the discussion in middle level political committee meetings. the water issue in the tristate crisis of PU,RA, HA are because of the inefficiency of the implemented water distribution policy. Would a Punjabi water board chairman stop water to rajasthan if he or his family has about 1000 acres of crop in rajasthan, well, you know the answer. It is called manipulative exploitation of an occupational privilege.

All this might sound unacceptable. But wait, Why was india one nation. personally, for me even pakistan, bangladesh, nepal, bhutan, tibet are part of a noble heritage called akhand bharathiya Maharajya(So should have been part of the Great Indian Nation). The politicians still follow in concept the british policy of divide and rule. Nehru, whatever his aim was on all matter concerning politics i am sure one of them is unite the great Ganrajya together to bring back its lost glory that has been exploited, plundered and looted for nearly 2000 YEARS, the islamic invasion, the british exploitation and of all the things that we have gone through. I definitely agree that it is a tall order for someone like Nehru to make an attempt to dissipate or even neutralize the effect of such himalayan proportions. But see it through and you shall understand that it is definitely better than the brutal annihilation path taken by so called chinese renaissance( communist then and now capitalist) in China. These are events that should not go unpunished but have to be persevered and prevented for at least sustaining what we have inherited after the murderous slicing of Bharat varsha(a handicapped mother struggling to make her children understand and not hurt her is all i see when events like this bring tears rolling down her eyes).

Forget about Akhand Bharata and rest of the crap theories..Who is not a regionalist in the nation? who is not? This nation was liberated not because of all the regions equally shared the pains of it. If you don't know the history then go back and read it,,,Those who sacrificed, gave their lives, made it liberated being systematically being sidlined by the vested interst at the center. People who were the kuuuulis of British Raj were the people who shared the wealth and leadership of this nation for last 60 years. But who were at the forefront of freedom struggle were deliberately sidlined and humiliated. Same thing is happening to this community again in its backyard and its cities. It's hightime this community need to rise up to save this mental retardness with fervor and zeal one more time. It's time to act up.

The way you spell, he could be from any other country. What is important - the name or the kind of person who commits such a crime?
1. Changing the name from BOMBAY to Mumbai 2. Milking money when they were in power with lots of flyover contracts. 3. Making lots of money in the name of Green mumbai. e.g Micheal jackson concert. They kept all the money for themselves.
