Shiv sena and its migrants issue
by abhay kant on Jan 06, 2008 07:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Shiv sena as a political party has put up its wings not only in places like delhi n gujrat but also in up n bihar.should it not be banned 4m these places then?besides its yet 2 be seen how far mumbai will progress if the cheap labourers 4m the bimaru states stop bein in mumbai. These so called regional parties r basically employin the divide n rule tactics very smartly.if they were actually so much concerned even about their very own states then they would have become chicago n newyork by now!

Indian upper castes are of Arab descent?
by Kumar on Jan 06, 2008 07:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The latest genetic information and archeological evidances are confirming what many of us long suspected. The Indian upper caste people are of Arab descent. Calling oneself God's chosen people, calling oneself twice born and also wearing a holy thread has been quite common in the Arab world. For example the Arab Jews call themselves God's chosen people, the Arab Christains call themselves born again, the Arab Persians wear a holy thread along their waist. Also the Arab looks of the top three castes in India is indisputable. Now we finally know how some Indians have long noses and fair complexion. What was hidden through history is being exposed by technology namely the genetics study and the lates archealogy dig, most notably in Syria and Khurdistan.

In that case he should have mentioned "Bangladeshi Migrants". Please do not give him a mask to hide behind. Let him have it his way and then we Bangalorians will have no other way than to say Bangalore is not for Maharashtrians. It is time that such people who talk against national integrity are taken to task. You should remember that such attitude took all the MNC's out of Mumbai & the state. 25 years back Maharashtra was beating all other states by getting big investments from companies. But now look at Chennai with all its automobile & BPO companies, look at Hydrabad and Bangalore with all the software and bio tech companies. People who make such statements and people who supposrt them are wholly responsible for this.

I do not live in Mumbai and I am living in the best place on earth. I am just stating what is obvious. You will keep talking like this until the last business leaves Maharashtra. Be honest and say what would Maharashtra be without the enterprising Gujaratis (who are behind the stock exchange and the finance and trading business) and the MNC's. Just look at the India Today issue of last year which pointed out that businesses have left Maharashtra or not going to Maharashtra. My friend, if you close your eyes to reality, you can't get away from it. History has several such examples. Tell me why you could not attract any software company or car company? Ask yourself the reason. Not just because Karnataka or TN offers incentives. These places are considered to less hostile for business and the people friendly. I know that I have not left you with much options, but to defend yourself. But sadly, thats the truth.

There are enough people from North India living here, and if you even visit Kanya Kumari, you will feel their presence felt...they do business and earn gainfully, most of them almost settled. There is no problem as far as you give respect, but if you are going to come with some headweight and with dominating attitude, your second sentence is 100% right

Forget hinduism and revive Buddism
by Manu on Jan 06, 2008 06:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The so called Bimaru area of north was on top when followed Buddism. Now being derogaratory called Bhaiyas by supporter of Hinduism like Shivshena. Just because of some economic prosperity they forgot that Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir, Tulsi, Kabir, are were Bhaiyas. Ramayana and Gita were written by Bhaiyas. Biggest Hindu empire was created by Chandragupta Maurya ,a Bhaiya. And the list goes on. However, revival is on the way now. Bihar under Nitish is changing fast. Japan is pumping money in these area. Biggest investment in steel is coming in east and in areas related to Buddism. manufacturing is gaining momentum over service and because of cheap availablity of labour, these area are bound to get maximum investments. West and east freight corridors supported by Japan will radically change the economic scenario of these areas.
Seeing the hatered of Maharastrian and other socalled hindu minded people, I feel time is ripe now to revive buddhism in our land. The Nalanda is being built again and Meghana Desai rightly termed it as renaissance of Bihar. We can think of a union with Nepal, Bihar, Up., Sikkim, HP, Rajasthan with eastern states and China and I guess chinese will be happy to do so. They got Tibbet a poor country and now changed it a lot.
So if the socalled fighter of Hinduism donot change their attitude revive Buddism and forget Hinduism. I always voted BJP and worked hard for it, but from now onwards, if they have a power sharing with Shivshena, I will never vot

I am from Bihar. It is backward beacuse castiest is rampant. Southies, Ghatis and Gujju people are united since they share their own native language around which they build unity. In Bihar the regional languages got killed by Hindi so people have ended up fighting over castes. Also, most of the crimes in Bihar are done by upper caste. I agree Buddhism can only save Bihar as it had done in the past.

I guess the Shiva Sena does not want people to know that the Queen of Kaladi, Channamma gave sanctuary to Shivaji's son Rajaram when we was persecuted by the Moghals. Kaladi, now in Karnataka, was and is a kannada speaking area. It was OK for the son of Shivaji to seek refuge in a kannada area then, but it is now wrong for anybody to come to Mumbai? And when we go to other cities we adapt and live by the norms of those cites and states. We dont tell Tamailians, Kannadigs,Andraites or any one else to live by our statndards. If you are in Maharashtra then live by our standards and ethos if not leave as soon possible. And one more thing why don't all southies collectively ask MNC or Major Corporations to come your state lets see what happens? I dare you. Don't make cop out and kuuulie arguments. We need not ask the MNC's to come to us! They will come to us automatically from your state, when they hear such talks. They are worried to hear people like you talking like this. Who would like to invest money long term in a state where fanatic ideas like this are growing. You can say anything for an argument. But statistics and figures reveal that sadly investments have moved out of Maharashtra. This is not the case with MNC's - even local companies are worried and will be happy to stay away. Look at the investments made by Reliance, Tata's etc etc. Even if you start an industry, given a chance, you will start in another place as it makes commercial sense.

Yup, very well-educated people with no use for all the education - its a well-known fact the state has an usually high rate of drug use and alcoholism because of the lack of employment opportunities, since there is no industry, retail or anything to make jobs available. So most of them run off to Gulf to live like animals at behest of arrogant Arab's, building their dream cities like Dubai, Qatar, etc. and ending up with little pay and no rights. i would put blame on Commies and Kerala Congress (which is basically Commie too), but Mallu's vote them into power, so they reap what they show
