Nowadays there is a parallel Gunda culture in India. They think they are modern and can do anything to a woman if she is vulnerable. Real orthodox people do not misbihave with women even if they judge them to be loose.

One part of India ( tiny) is westernised while majority is still old fashioned. How ever even if they are old fashioned if they are brought up well they will not molest a woman even if she is not dressed or behaves according to convention. They just move away from her. There is no excuse for molesting women. In true Indian culture such a molesting is considered sin and crime.
Must say impressive action taken. But, its still obvious that stronger action was taken as these are NRIs; so many indian girls are subject to harrassment in colleges etc..on a daily basis. Comments from Jhadhav also prove the above statement in regards to making a mole hill out of a mountain ( thats the mentality that prevails even with the heads of police) I wonder if some one touched his wife's wife butt, if he would act the same. He should be fired, to prove that the govt is serious. Also great job to rediff as you can truly express your opinion on this website; unlike other websites where you are subjected to non freedom of expression.

what is so ridiculous is that they were given an OPTION called BAIL for Rs 10000 ?? In this horrific sex maniac case they should be Jailed for the rest of their lives...
I totally agree with you. At least all the culprits should be made public. In my opinion either their hands or legs should be severely damaged so that they remember their deed for the whole life, so will their relatives and public.
