Why do pseudo Hindus celebrate new year?

The criminals might be thinking why they have consumed liquor...shame on those criminals.

how does it matter if the culprits are from up or bihar or kerala or TN or AP?????are not we all INDIANS? r u giving a character certificate for all mumbaites?next time if a mumbaite commits a crime will u take the blame and undergo punishment?are u so confident of mumbaites?have they never committed any crime against women?

next time 1 single mumbaite commits a crime then will u feel good if all mumbaikars are stopped from entering into other states?

good people will remain good wherever they go and ba people will remain bad whereever they go....this is not a strict rule or somehting but is just to refute ur claim....i hope u get the whole picture.

are u saying that people should live their entire life in the state in which they belong to?

what is ur whole point?ur words are meaningless and r useless and are just meant to create hatred amongst people...or u simply dont know to write????

plus double standard too. One rule for others and one rule for their kids is what parents think and hope.Sadly indians are ra*ist and many times they dont think before speaking condescendingly about others.

When you talk about Symmonds immediately they say cross. We all may have the first US president in that same category and then something has to give.

It happens everywhere in India
by Bhaskar Mishra on Jan 05, 2008 08:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have been to so many new year parties and seen this kind of stuff. Guys ( cheap ) will see a girl dresed nicely and somehow they plant their hands in. This is sheer frustration and to an extend that these cheap things are actually erotic for hooglians. Delhi, Bangalore, MUmbai, happens everywhere, this is India, where law is hopeless and people are like animals and lets accept it, Its just a small percentage of guys who won do .. but most of the lower mid class and poor guys cant withstand the luxury of others, and hence these incidents happens. A saudi kind of law of lashes can prevent this or WOMEN - Please don go out without adequate people around you, I have seen this happening in MG blore and this time wen we were passing from there we drove and dint stop till hotel. JUST Don stop and its a cheap insane frustrated crowd at all famous ROADS, get to a good hotel and these 'cheap' wont be there . I am sorry to say all this but thats the way it is.

laxman rekha
by babban on Jan 05, 2008 07:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think, in indian society still ladies has to follow "laxman rekha", she shd move inside a limited circle. Because our indian society is not fully educated and up lifted ..so when a guys of below 10th std education, working on mumbai city, sees just girls with vulgerd dresss, his frustation level increases.. so result is with you.. better girls shd know their limit..
i personally feel, whatever happened, was right. Girls were lucky that somebody escaped them from the futher tragedy..
In delhi. mumbai, you wud find such girls, they just wants to be rapaed in the market palce.. if such girls are molested, then it was okay..

@ Babban
You are right, the problem is people think it in a way of injustice but practically ask any of them will they allow there mom or sister to get drunk late night and wander in streets... anyways many will bash me also but this is a practical problem ,Metropolitans in india are going to suffer thanks to the policies which create more gap between rich and poor... Unfortunately rich are gettin richer and poor gettin more poorer...Rich get everything which is even illegal and they have so much of power that they legalise it for there happiness.. for eg parties in 5 Star where you find semi nude girls dancing and people enjoyin her,its defined as party or a part of western culture and the girls are professional dancer, while the same thing the middle class used to do in dance bars that was termed as prostitution and bar girls were termed as prostitutes,no doubt that place is ugly but even what the rich do is not sacred.. such situations will create havoc in future, even on 31st we have seen rich goin for shows of bipasha rakhi etc... while poor were on roads.. They see everyone enjoyin while they are deprived and they are bound to get jealous... I feel this cases should be handled as in europe where they have legalised many things so that the whole situation is in check.. banning and depriving some portion of people will create huge problems as again even they will try to get things illegally and for that they are ready to do anything...I feel either stop everything, let even

Let even rich be deprived of all illegal stuff(practically impossible) or close the gap between rich and poor by legalising some aspects and make this city safe

Some posts here imply that if women dress decently or prostitution is legalized, all molestation cases can be checked. The European countries where there is not a wide gap between rich and poor and men are pretty much used to women wearing trousers or skirts, sexual abuse is still very high... on women, small girls and also boys!! Do you think 8 or 10 year old boys dress provocatively?
The answer lies in men exercising more self control. If it's not women (like in some conservative countries where women are restricted to the house or go out only with male companions), men take out their frustration on kids. There are very few incidents which come to light but it is very common. I personally know some innocent boys who were sexually abused in school by classmates in Bombay!
Men just can't keep blaming the victims and continue with this. You all who are talking about Hindu society, boys were sent to ashrams (schools) and had to practice Brahmcharya, then they would get married and have only one partner for life. Isn't that the ideal way of living? Practicing self control, making a good career then leading a happy married life?

Why dont the men follow a 'laxman rekha' too?
If you think that what happened was right then you are no better than the frustrated guys 'of below 10th std education'.
God only knows what you mean by 'such girls'. If you are travellng at night and a mob of men beat you, steal your stuff and sodomize you then I think its ok too.
Neanderthal!

So you think women dont want to be raped just because they may get pregnant?
Do you even know the first thing about rape?
If a 10 year old boy is sodomized its ok because he wont get pregnant?
And saying God did this and God did that and we must not question it is just another way of saying I have no answers for human cruelty and stupidity so I'll tell myself some God somewhere is responsble for it all.
Gravity is a law of nature, human beings behave the way they want to behave and this is NOT a law of nature. You do not HAVE to harass women or steal or rape or murder.

Molestation
by Muslim Indian on Jan 05, 2008 07:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Thank God there was no muslim involved in this incident else it would have been given a communal color by the so called nationalists (i.e. BJP / Shiv Sena / VHP / Bajrang Dal) and would have gained political milage of this shamful incident.

It would have also been termed as an ISI backed incident with Pakistan involvment and off course HuJI / LeT also would have been involved.

How do u know he is a christian?

Why bother about what happens in christian and muslim countries? Lets just think of us. We are a nation who pride ourselves in the respect we give to our women. These incidents are a shame on us. Instead of finding fault with christian and muslim countries, lets first purge ourselves of the miscreants who bring shame to our country, whether they r hindus, muslims or christians.
