Rizwanaur Rehman was an evil person.
by Kumar on Jan 05, 2008 05:15 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rizwanaur Rehman was an evil person. This crook who was working as the computer graphics teacher of Prinyanka Todi, violated the trust and holy relationship between a teacher and student and instead choose to cast an evil, sexual eye on his minor student who was under his charge and confidance. In USA, the teachers who try to have sexual relationships with minor student are fired from their job and put in jail for a very long time. Their work record is 'red flagged' so that these violaters of trust can never hold a teaching or supervisor job ever.

what happened to bengal?
by ashish on Jan 05, 2008 02:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These crap pseduo intellectual bengalis who can easily be given a candle in the hand in the name of liberty/freedom and who are the copy master of west without undertstanding the implementation difference in India, are a shame. It is pathetic to see that these people are playing in the hand of media, does not understand the crap religious sentiments in this whole issue and shout like a fool. It so sad that in a state where people like tagore, ray, amartya sen like thinkers have been born are producing dumbos like this.. who can be mould into any shape by the media.(specially that demigod newapaper of the intellectuals, anandabazar.. a gossip magazine)

Muslim are dominant in West Bengal.
by sanjay kumar on Jan 05, 2008 02:01 AM  Permalink

Muslim population in West Bengal approx. 25%
This explains Bengali media attitude and interest in this case. Even marxists are defensive on this account.

Rizwanur case exposed media's lies. A lot of media today criticize the Left and try to make controversy and gain money.

A lot of media today try to befool the divided people. They chose the false way, because of their own politics. Their next duty is to catch the people for corrupt politicians.

Media is making Frenzy of this topic
by Swaraj Sudharm on Jan 05, 2008 12:34 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now you see the vested interest of media to give weight to this topic............ What did this Rizwa** did and was like is of no interest to common man.
If so interested Jus try to implement Common Civil Code in this country. Try to remove Madarsa from this country. Try to educate masses .......................

Forget Common Civil Code or Madrasas, we're not dealing with them. The issue is - does anyone have the right to interfere into a legal marriage? If not, he or she must be punished - that's all.

What do you mean when you say Does anyone have a right to interfere into a legal marriage?
Does any woman (or man) who starts and extra-marital affair with a married man (women) (i.e. INTERFERES IN A LEGAL MARRIAGE, to use your words) that eventually results to the breakup of that marriage indeed have such rights. Last time I checked up on it, it is not illegal under the Indian law to have extra-marital affair(s) and at the same time there was no implicit law authorising such actions.
Try to understand the origins of the issue. All the fuss is being caused because it is a Muslim male and Hindu female story. In case it had been a Hindu male and Muslim female couple the fuss/trouble/riots would have ensued immediately after the LEGAL MARRIAGE had taken place and the whole problem would only have been considered resolved after the suicide/accidental death/lynching/murder (or what ever mode of termination you prefer)of the audacious (Hindu)scum-bag. I am optimistic that you will get the gist of the message though I do have my doubts about it.
