What will save India is its diversity. While Hindutva forces continue to unify all Hindus under one banner, regional and other distinct groups will continue to prop their own factions. That alone will save India. I encourage and promote such local identities.
I don't see a necessity for unifying Indians under one banner called Hinduism, or one color of nationalism as defined by the highest flag bearers. We want our local identities, our religious identities, our languages. We don't want to trade them for another.

Yes, you are right what you said but its not only applicable for RSS, VHP or BJP but for all the Political Parties across India. They do take the advantage of Vote Bank Politics in the name of CASTE, REGION, RELIGION and so on. If India is secular and if we want to build a caste-less society and secular state where there won't be any rivalry between different castes and no enmity between various religious communities; then why am I asked to put my caste while taking admission in a school/college, why am I asked to mention my religion while filling a job application form? Why can't we just remove these volatile terms from these institutions?

what is wrong with COW SLAUGHTER? Beef and Pork are far more tastier than chicken etc....im a Hindu but i have no reservations on eating Beef...The Hospitality Industry has taught me to accustom to all types of food...Mr. Mukherjee, pls discuss important issues...its a person's choice if he wants to eat beef....dont get sentimental abt cow slaughter...

i have told several Muslim friends i eat pork....they are still my friends...im not admitting..i eat beef every week...now that means all people in the Hotel Industry should not learn how beef is cooked? So we dont serve beef when people come and dine in the hotels? Are u living in the 10th century..by the way if i eat it whats ur bloody problem? My parents have no issues so who are u?
