We all know what happened when Nazism was allowed to grow. Sangh Parivar is a loose network of organizations led by the RSS whose founders were admirers of Adolf Hitler.

1971 would have happened irrespective of the party in power.I don't share your opinion that it is the most momentous event.

Hi all All the religions in the world are created over many centuries in ancient times.The socalled sacred books are guidelines and part of the religious beliefs but they are not the ultimate rules you must follow to be called a member of particukar religion. They were not written by god but by mere human beings who are biased and prone to make mistakes by nature and the circumstances they live in. the trouble comes when someone blindly follows those rules and rituals created centuries ago without using their own capability of discretion and thought. The basis of creating a religion is to give people peace and make people united.those are the rules for the ancient times when there was no education, knowledge and the only way of making people listen is to create fear and rules.
We are not living in such conditions now. So....please please think and use your own thought than listening to someone or some book written thousands of years ago before judging some faith.
The word Hindu is not a religious word. It is secular in origin. It is derived from the word Sindhu, which is the name of a major river that flows in the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. The ancient Greeks and Armenians used to refer the people living beyond the river Sindhu as Hindus and gradually the name struck. When the Muslims came to the sub continent they called the people living in the region as Hindustanis to distinguish them from the foreign Muslims. Subsequently when the British established their rule, they started calling the local religions collectively under the name of Hinduism.

The word HINDU is not derived from SIndu but for people from the areas below the Hindukush mountain range. They were the Aryans who moved from Eurasia down to the hinduksh and settled there. Similairly the word Hindustan does not have any religious connotation but means the people of the land below the Hindukush. Just thought i'd get the record straight.

People who have said Gujratis are not humans I have a small example from 1947: In the beginning of September, Hindus and Sikhs of 8 or 9 villages around Chak 305 (in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chatiana) were forced to quit their homes under threat of shooting. Their arms were taken away from them, and they were kept thirsty for a whole day. Then they were ordered to march. Those in the rear were repeatedly attacked and killed and their womenfolk abducted. After much further ill-treatment they were pushed into a railway train. This train was stopped at mile 5 on the Shorkot Road line and Pakistan Military and police fell upon it. This happened on the 9th September. Out of the 5,000 Hindus and Sikhs in this train, only 6 (six) survived. So thorough was the slaughter of these Hindus and Sikhs.

You forget a few details, when Muslim kings invaded the Indian sub-continent they went on a genocide of all non-Muslims as well as looted , raped millions of women and made them into sex slaves. This same thing is true of Pakistan partition too. How many Hindus have survived in the "secular" Pakistan ? And the twisted logic given is they love Islam and hence they convert, excuse me no one loves Islam not even the ancient residents of India who were forced into conversion.
What are we fighting for ? really is it worthwhile for a religion to lie,force,kill torture others into acceptance.

thats just an excuse. islam needs reform which has never occured, but it requires courage from the side of muslims. every religion, has had the courage a reform, but muslims have been very sincere followers. muslims should read Rumi's interpretation of quran instead blokes like zakir naik and other mullahs.

Quran is the only religious scripture which original. It exists in its same form as reveales without any change. People in the world have tried a lot to change it. They failed. You read it analyse it and you deside yourself. NOt only quran you read all scriptures analyse them and weigh them. If a man does a good thing it is accounted howeversmall the good thing may be. If a man does a bad thin it is also accounted however small the bad thing may be
