well done nusrat.while almost every congress opinion was in favour as you said in your post of meeting the demands of hijackers of the indian plane with 200 passengers to save the lives of hostages a teenage girl came out with a different opinion altogether unlike the then home-minister Mufti Mohammad Seyed (doordarshan news-bulletin 29-12-99.Her both parents were in the ill-fated plane when she said govt. should not release the hard core millitant in our custody in exchange for the hotages at any cost. Alas!Mufti Md (HM) had shown the courage and conviction and confidence half of the amount this unselfish patriotic girl showed knowing well that her parents wer also in the plane.
Though i was born as muslim yet I dont hesitate to say that by any strech of imagination and speculation,out of all the existing political parties BJP with all it's shortcommings can be considered on the top for patriotism. I have never voted for BJP and hence further will never vote other than BJP.
i have ot seen any nation so paralyzed on the issue of terror. the leaders (including the bjp leaders) speak in ambiguos language, the media go off the tangent, the public speak in phiolsophical lingo. why is it so hard to see that india needs to secure its borders and shut down all the traffick. folks, shutting down border is not a philosophical nor ideological nor humanitarian no nothing issue: it is a security issue. can we focus on it for a huge change? the biggest need of the day is for the people to hear voices that support shutting down the border.

Sandhu(I dont know whom you are talking about but I think you mean those Punjab police officers who killed a number of Sikh youths in false encounters and received lakhs for that illegally)and the like got less than what they deserved .
This is typical hindutva mindset speaking .
Most of Punjab encounters in 1980/90's were false .Have a look at the real encounters below at Wikipaedia which is not a Sikh site.

I tend to agree with you that the rich and the powerful abuse power and escape from law. whereas the poor and helpless are sacrificed. India is India just because of the hard-working poor people. Had Sirsa saadh been an ordinary poor indian who would have been either given life sentence or hanged for rape and murder.

I can say the same thing to you . It looks like either you are too young to know the facts or have been brainwashed by the false Indian media or are deliberately ignoring the facts. If only your father,son or any of your relatives been killed like these FORCES/CRPF/ARMY/Punjab police etc did in false encounters in Punjab .Had your women been disgraced in police stations,CRPF camps like it happened in Punjab you would not have written like this .
I know of many people who underwent hell during 1980/90s perpetrated by these forces in Punjab and anti Sikh goons in November,1984 in Delhi and elsewhere Do you know of any ?
Still no justice for families of Sikh youth burned as unclaimed bodies in Punjab,victims of 1984 anti Sikh pogroms and the list goes on.
Shiv sena,RSS and other fascist hindu organisations are openly going out hitting beauty parlours,molesting women,destroying shops in the streets etc whenever they like whereas during the Punjab struggle only warnings were given.
Hindutva forces may be able to do such acts in Gujrat or elsewhere and even on the net (lol) but any anti Sikh act by these goons will not be tolerated anywhere in Punjab.

POTA and SOTA will only aggravate the situation as minorities will be persecuted more.We all know this POTA/SOTA is usually misused against the innocent common man and minorities instead of those who take on the forces head on.This only furthers the plan of disruptive forces.

No,my dear bhai jan ( H Singh ) I dont consider BJP faulty for releasing terrorist Masood at Afganistan. Traitor congress had already set many trecherous and bad precedences . Kindly recall when Mohtram Mufti Mehbooba,dear daughter of then Home Minister janab SeyedMufti was kidnaped in Kashmir by jihadis to release 25 dreaded terrorists from jails. All the 25 terrorists along with 25 crore rupees were released with in no time by so called secular govt. 25 terrorists for only one Mehbooba ? Was it because she was a muslim? or a separatist kashmiran ? or a darling daughter of a Home-Minister ? No body knows . Now you take the case of highjacking the plane to Afganistan.This plan was having two hundered passengers, babies,children,many ladies also like Mufti Mehbooba,and young and old men, from many states. Continous for two days many reletives of the passengers gave dharna and shoutings in front of Atal Bihari PM's house fully supported by oppurtunists congress and communists to pressurise the NDA govt. to get released the hyjacked passengers. In such circumstances the BJP had to release Masood Azher to save those 200 civilian innoscent passengers. Non of these passengers was son or daughter of any minister. If one pro-terrorist Mehbooba has to be saved in exchange of 25 terrorists then was it wrong to save 200 innoscent patriotic citizens ?

so nusrat ali, you mean the means / method is not as important as the end / result? Why a party with a difference follow the precedence? Why budget allocation by every govt for education and health is incomparably lower than actually needed? congress precedence? then bjp is no better my friend. any govt that compromises the fundamental need to strengthen education and health care in not peoples govt. it is elite domination over the mass.
